It says 300 watts but reading on the details about the hifi then it says 49 watts.So how many watts has it got.

Obviously not 300. This may be PMPO? Some marketing trap. For 300 RMS each of those 5.25" should be around 125W and 25W for tweeter. Unreal. PSH

49W are the watt of the hifi itself! Obviously the hifi is an amplifier that will increase the wattage to 150W per speaker with a total of 300W of sound…

Yes you can, via aux port at back of system.

Can you record from cd to usb

You can't. You'd be better off just putting your CD into a PC and ripping it to USB from there. Then you can get it in the best quality you're able to.
