Product meets expectations, seller exceeds them
I have an old e-Machines Windows PC that came w/ Vista and 1G of RAM. I upgraded to Win 7 a few years ago and it seems like slowly over time, the overall PC performance got slower and slower. I thought it may have been due to a nearly full hard drive, so I installed a much larger drive, but the issue did not go away. My motherboard manual said I could upgrade from two 512M DDR modules to two 1G DDR modules, so I did a search and Nemix Corp had the Crucial modules at a very reasonable price and I ordered two. Nemix provided the USPS tracking number, and I anxiously awaited their arrival. Unfortunately, after waiting for an extra week beyond the latest expected delivery date, the USPS said they were lost and I needed to fill out forms and go through more hassle. Instead, I contacted Nemix and they sent off a replacement pair the next day via USPS, and it arrived closer to the early expected arrival date. Unfortunately, the modules did not fit my motherboard. After further research on Crucial's website and Wikipedia, I found that my motherboard needed DDR2 modules. So I contacted Nemix and explained the latest issue was not their fault - they sent what I ordered initially - and asked them if they would swap the DDR modules for DDR2. They quickly responded to return the DDR and when they received the modules, they would send the DDR2. So 1 week after I put the wrong modules in the mail back to Nemix, I received the correct modules for my system. They are now installed and working great. Applications appear to start faster, my web browser appears to be much quicker, and the hard drive is NOT spinning up quickly while it swaps data in and out all the time. Which is what I expected. What I didn't expect was the USPS hassle of a lost package, and my motherboard's manual to be wrong. But Nemix helped minimize both of those issues for which I am very appreciative.

Great Price
I ordered 4 of these, installed all 4gb with no issues & it works perfect! I've installed memory 100+ times and this was no different than when buying from the store (except the great price!)!!!The only issues I had was a shipping error (hey it happens) & it took longer than stated by amazon for the original order to arrive....didn't understand why though when it shipped from Ohio to SW Pennsylvania (2 days max is all it should have taken, not 7).The seller was quick to correct the shipping error and sent out a pre-paid envelope to return the incorrect item along with the correct item.I would definetly buy from this seller again, very pleasant to deal with!!!

Does not work in ASA 5505
Just an FYI for anyone who is buying this to upgrade an ASA 5505... it doesn't work. I took out the factory 256MB module in my ASA 5505 and popped this guy in, and it wouldn't boot. I tried power cycling it a few times, and sometimes it starts booting and eventually just fails, with the status light blinking orange and all of the port light across the front and back blinking on and off as if the RAM type is unsupported.I bought this as an attempt to get around paying "Cisco tax" to upgrade the device - they want around $100 for a stick of 1GB DDR, which is ridiculous, but the ASA is pretty picky about what type of RAM it'll take. Unfortunately, even though this Crucial stick was recommended on a bunch of forums I read, it appears as though it doesn't work in all of them.

Great Product and Great Price
Product shipped and arrived very fast. It came with trouble shooting instructions and a number to call in case something didn't work. I received exactly what was pictured and it fit my dell dimension perfectly. I haven't tested the speed difference yet, between I went from 256 to 1gb ram, but I am sure that it'll be noticeable. I would recommend this product to anyone that has an older dell desktop computer

Good Ram for older computers
Crucial makes some of the best ram in the industry. The Ballistix made by Crucial is also great but only usefull if over clocking if your not over clocking it's a waste of money. This was told to me by a guy from Crucial itself. The 1GB went in without a hitch and was seen by my computer upon booting up after install. This is my second time having to install Ram in any computer bought new anyways. And both times didn't have many problems at all. After my first time of install ever I learn when taking the ram out look at the bottom of the stick holding in place just as you took it out of your computer, you will see a notch at the bottom just insert the new stick the same way. Or you could just look at the bottom of the Ram slot and make sure you insert the ram lined up with the notch on the new ram. Due to poor eye sight for myself I have found taking the old one out and then inserting the sameway with notch makes it easier for me.

Not as advertised
First this memory is not new. I ordered 4 sticks and if this memory is new it has been at the bottom of the box rolling around for a while.Second none of the 4 sticks I ordered were even the same type/bin. Every pcb was designed differently. I found that 3 of the sticks would work together all being CT12864Z40B.xxxxx part numbers however the 4th stick was CT12864Z40BT.xxxxx and would only boot in the system solo.Something else to think about if your system requires single sided memory these are not, they are actually 200Mhz running interleaved between the sides to appear 400Mhz. This does work and is a standard however it does not work in all systems. So technically I received 4 (different) working sticks, however my system will not function with all 4 sticks together. I am working with an IBM Thinkcentre M51 for anyone wondering. We will see what they say to the RMA of the stick that won't work with the others. For now I am leaving a 1 star.

Exact match
After the upgrade from Win XP I needed more RAM and searched on Crucial.com to find the correct type of RAM. Then, happy days, Amazon had the exact matching item in stock. Great price and free shipping too. I'm very pleased.

1 GB Arbeitsspeicher

Compra recomendada.
