I wanted stainless steel storage containers to keep my ingredients and small leftovers. This set honestly serves that purpose very well, and I put anything from my prepped ingredients (onions, cabbage, garlic, etc) to pasta salad to some dishes. They keep the ingredients cooler and fresher slightly longer than plastic ones I was using. They are also easier to clean. Not sure how air tight it is as I’ve witnessed (just like someone said) the lid came loose and got opened several times, hence one less star. Otherwise, I’ve been using it on a daily basis, and just purchased another set. I wish it comes in with bigger size and also fix that loose lid situation.

I have used these containers for 2 weeks, very disappointed, lids are not airtight. I followed directions as specified, everything seems ok, place containers in refrigerator, but the next day, the lids are loose, unsealed . This has happened with several foods, (nuts, vegetables, bread and fruit). No hot foods, just cold and room temp. Should have returned them, but too late, I have used them, Lesson learned, I use them for pencils now.

Perfect size for school lunchEasy to remove and put on lid, even for small hands. The seal works very well. Haven't had any problems with leaks. Dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.
