Not brilliant for lose leaf tea
This arrived on time and in one piece. It looks fabulous. Two points though. It dribbles oh boy does it dribble. If you pour very slowly youโre ok Secondly I use lose leaf tea. Emptying the leaves out is a nightmare. I now put my forefinger over the spout and swirl it out into a jug. Itโs taken a while but Iโm getting the hang of both the pouring and the emptying. Itโs a shame because as I said it looks great.

Beutiful and good price but not very practical
Good: It's very attractive, lightweight (good quality china), and has the capicity I need for the family morning tea (2 pints), and was a really good price. But it's not really practical: Not good: 1) If you fill it more than about half, which I need to, it tends to dribble from the spout when you pour the tea, so you have to have a saucer or similar underneath to avoid getting teastains on the tablecloth. 2) The lid look cute and dainty, but is so small it's a hassle to get the teabags out after using - they won't just shake out so you need to fish them out one by one with a spoon. If the same pot could be available with a better spout and a wide lid (ideally with an infuser so I can use old-fashioned tealeaves!) I would buy it tomorrow even at a considerably higher price.
