Q: Does it come with everything pictured?

It actually DOES come with the snare stand, but not the hi hat or bass pedal

Q: Can you add more triggers Cymbals or drums to the brain?

Yes, you can if you use a splitter. One end o Would go to an existing drum or cymbal and the other end would go to the add on drum or cymbal. I’m currently doing this and it works well.

Q: Many users stating if you play open or closed on midi it will make the same sound (midi sends 1 hi hate note). is this true or user error?

I have had no issues between open and closed, in settings you can change tones open closed, and the closed foot hit.
