Will this work? I'd like to order today if so** A: I don't know if the American Standard drain could be jury-rigged to work, but I would be surprised if it did work. It's specific to only a couple of American Standard very deep tubs. The picture of the MAAX Cocoon I saw looks totally different. **Q: Is this satin nickel or brushed. the model number is the same as the brushed nickel on the american standard website. can someone verify which it is.** A: Satin I think....in my tub it is covered and cannot be seen in any way so I don't totally remember. You still need to get the finishing drain plug. **Q: Is this interchangeable with the 1599.500.020 drain?** A: According to the manual for the tub you can use either 1599.500.020 [plastic] or the 1599.205.xxx [last three denote finish color].
