This is the best £3 you'll ever spend. Works incredibly well, and quickly. Was able to do the entire stairs and landing in about 10 mins. Minimal effort. Stop reading and buy it.

Cheap and cheerful does the job of removing loose fluff from stair carpet

This tiny tool is - and I can't stress this enough - amazing. I have cream carpets that are basically dark grey in large patches. I've tried carpet cleaner and various soaps and scrubbing brushes. Even a hired rug doctor machine. THIS tool has made more of an impact than any of those. I got a whole handful of fluff from a square foot of my landing carpet in about three minutes. I am thrilled. Thrilled!The edge bits keep falling off, but I just pop them back on. And it's going to take ages to do the whole staircase, landing and bedroom because it's a small device, but I don't care. It works incredibly well.
