Great Buy !
Loved the suitcase …. I just went to Europe for a week and could fit in 2 big winter jackets and all my clothes and boots into my suitcase! It was so easy to use … and space saving. Very happy with the suitcase !

Sturdy and excellent product
Love it! One of the few (perhaps only) hard-case suitcases that opens from the top, as well as offers expandable storage at the side. Just what I was looking for.

Not value foroney
It is strong and brilliant and all but the top surface wears out an loses the beauty of it. Its like asking you to put an additional cover to protect it as airlines are not going to handle it so carefully.Could have done better in this aspect at this price. Also storage is less for a large suitcase.

Very Small
The product is just 33 litres and very small compared to competitors. I had to buy another one as it didn’t fulfill my space requirements

The perfect mid size, top opening, hard case. Highly recommend for frequent travellers.
I should preface this review by saying that, as yet, we haven't travelled with the Curio suitcases. We are, however, frequent travellers and very much know what we are after when it comes to luggage. After a trip to Canada last month I was devastated when my 10 year old luggage suffered a mishap and I was forced to look for a new set. At the risk of missing out the rest of the family all decided it was time for them to upgrade as well so shopping for one set quickly became shopping for four sets. With the pressure on to find the "perfect" luggage I became a bit obsessive and actually purchased a few thousand dollars worth of bags from bag shops to conduct "packing trials" before eventually deciding that the Curio was the one for us. We travel several times a year and always travel with the same configuration. Each person has a single medium sized check in bag and a "Foldie" cabin bag. We like to travel relatively lightly but, as we are often on the move for 4-6 weeks at a time, space is a very important consideration, particularly for the check in bag. The good - the 68cm case is, for a frequent traveller, nearly the perfect check in bag. It rolls well, it has quality zips and can fit an incredible amount inside. It is relatively compact, sturdy and if you check out the dimensions online you'll be staggered by how much you can get inside if you choose to pop the expansion. The capacity is larger than many "large" bags from other brands. The "book opening" design is also fabulous. No more splaying your hard case out in a hotel room while you all trip over it. We travel as a family of four and, after years of battling four hard cases spread over the floor of a hotel room, this will be a welcome change. The bad - it's reasonably lightweight but still a touch heavier than I am used to. If you (like us) are going to be lugging it over cobblestone streets, up and down train platforms, onto ferries and from flight to flight then weight is definitely a consideration. The colours are also REALLY drab. Here in Australia we had the choice of black, grey or khaki. I was really disappointed with the colour range as we prefer bright or unique colour pattern cases that we easily differentiate on airline carousels. Other - we purchased the mid and cabin sizes in each colour. The mid is spectacular. The cabin size is nice but quite heavy compared to other cabin bags on the market. If you are flying with budget airlines where weight is going to matter for cabin bags I wouldn't recommend the Curio in that size. We purchased the cabin bag solely for road trips and I suspect will never take them on a flight simply due to their weight. Our "Foldie" bags are far more functional as cabin luggage as we don't lose half our weight allowance in "bag". Also, for anyone trying to find an answer - YES, the cases will nest inside one another. At least the cabin nests easily in the mid size. I couldn't find this information on the website and had rung American Tourister for advice. They stated quite clearly that the cases do not nest and I came very close to not purchasing as a result. However the measurements provided just didn't sit right and I decided to take a punt anyway. Very glad I did as American Tourister customer service obviously aren't really all that up to speed on their own product. I was very pleased to find that all my cabin bags easily fit inside my mid size bags for storage.

Great suitcase
Very happy with the look of the suitcase. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but it seems very sturdy and the movement of the wheels is excellent. The case is much roomier than I expected and the front opening is fantastic. We will see how it stands up to a trip to India soon.

Love front opening
Love the front opening. Easy to use and glides well. Used on recent holiday and had a cover on it for the plane trip. Did not use the cover when travelling in the car every day and it was easily scratched.
