But given the overall condition, it came as no surprise that the card turned out to be defective: it fails to initialize, reports 0 bytes of VRAM, and is not usable as a GPU. I am genuinely surprised and annoyed at how carelessly a piece of hardware worth over $3,000 was treated. This purchase was a waste of everyone's time, and all of these issues could easily have been avoided with proper handling and packaging. Second card decided to check my ROPs because of the 5090 fiasco. ROPs are fine, however the Memory Bus width is 192 instead of 384. This is the equivalent of have a W7900 with 24 Gig of memory with a 384 Bus Width. For a workstaion card where you are running professional applications this utterly destroys any advantage you had of a workstation GPU.
