Unique Probiotics women-specific
Seems to be doing the job. Priced right, too, as compared to other like brands. I’ve got it on automatic monthly re-order.

These “work” great
I take a medication that wipes out my gut bacteria every day. After discovering probiotics, my life has really improved down there. I recommend a very high bacteria count. I take the medication in the morning, and the probiotics at night. Life is regular now, and I don’t get food poisoning much at all anymore.

Great product.
I really like these probiotics because I don't have the digestive enzymes and I'm that upset my stomach.

Deceptive statement of potency per serving
You have to divide the stated potency by 3 to get the potency per serving (3 capsule), meaning you are actually buying 2/3rds less than you were led to believe by the deceptive labeling. Amazon should adopt uniform labeling for vitamin and supplements.

An average probiotic
I take probiotics daily and occasionally tend to switch to a different one, thinking (perhaps wrongly) that it might be more effective to try different bacteria strains. This probiotic by Nature’s Peak looked interesting because of the high number of CFUs. The general recommendation is 45 billion per dose and these have 120 billion. I haven’t read anything that says that over 45 billion is bad, so it’s an impressive number. Below is a list of what I liked about them and what wasn’t so great.Pluses1. Very high CFUs per dose2. Lists strains & substrains (the numbers & letters in parentheses following the bacteria name are the substrains)3. MAKTrek Bi Pass Technology that is supposed to improve probiotic absorption; Google it to learn more4. Includes lot number & expiry was 18-months from receipt5. Nature’s Peak offers a wide range of supplementsNot Pluses:1. Only 5 probiotic strains2. Plastic bottle; not optimal for probiotics as it can shorten shelf-life3. Inconsistent information re: manufacture. Product description info says product is “formulated and manufactured in the USA”. But on the bottle is only says product is “bottled in the USA”.Not much either way. I’ve taken them for two weeks with no negative effect, not even gas. So if you like the bacterial composition and think it will address your needs, it’s likely you can try this without harm.
