Better than I thought
I have a Velowave Ranger that I bought 3 years ago. I have ridden this bike for thousands of miles! I never bought the official mud guards because they looked like more hardware than I wanted. Plus, I just wanted something simple and inexpensive.I just installed these and road around the block a few times. It fits my bike perfectly. I could probably bend the front assembly a little, but I thought I would take a photo so you can see what it looks like out of the box, no adjustments.People complain that the plastic isn’t heavy enough, but I like the light weight plastic. I think this is just perfect. I didn’t want to add a bunch of weight to my bike. If it breaks, I’m just out a few bucks. Big deal.I did put a drop of super glue on the little bolts and nuts that hold the flaps on so they don’t unscrew with time. You only need a nut driver and a screwdriver to get it installed. For what I paid, I am really very happy.

Cheaply made and doesn't include everything you need
I bought this in conjunction with the Fat Bike that I bought on Amazon. It was a suggested item and I didn't read the description. I really wish I had at least thought twice. Here are all the problems I had:- The set did NOT include all of the fasteners that I needed - all of the screws were different sizes, I had three nuts of all different sizes as well. Two of the screws were self tapping so I at least got the front fender somewhat together. The rear fender I literally had to ziptie together.- The instructions are very poorly translated to the point that they are impossible to understand. All of the pictures are also incredibly small and useless. You just kind of have to figure it out on your own, which is difficult considering the above problems- The hex head screw for the "expansion plug" arrived already stripped - this made it incredibly difficult to tighten. I eventually got it on after 2 hours of trying. Also, the "instructions" say this can be installed without removing the front wheel - this is almost impossible.- The rear fender can only be adjusted up and down if you remove the screw, you cannot just move the wheel up/down a few clicks like EVERY other bicycle fender I have ever bought. Which is another thing that is advertised but that you don't actually get with this productThis is probably the worst item I have ever purchased on this website and the first time I have been angry enough to sit down and write a review. I was able to install it completely but not without some creative workarounds. I know it is cheap but I'd say it isn't even worth the $20 I spent. Avoid like the plague.

Good Rack for packing
I purchase this rack as a replacement for the lack of fenders for my 4" fat tired bike. This rack is stirdy enough to hold a good weighted package if needed. This is the second one that I have purchase. Mounting was somewhat challenging. The bracket that attaches to the wheel hub was great with no problems but the mounting to the frame under the seat was the problem. The last one came with a cross piece that attaches to the hole just under the seat but the new bikes have welded threaded nipples on the frames, where my bike didn't. If i had that cross connected piece it would have been fine but I had to jurry rig the attachments for under the seat frame.

Can't beat it for the price!
General Comments:I was looking for a set of generic fenders for my fat-tire bike but didn’t want to spend a lot of money or worry that they might not fit. Unlike full fenders, these shorter fenders (more like large mud flaps) are inexpensive and utilize a seemingly simple, universal mounting system.Installation was quick and easy per the instructions and no modifications were required to fit my particular bike.My intended use is casual trail riding and I found these fenders to be satisfactory. Functionally, the most important thing is that they help keep occasional surface water, mud and grit off of me as I ride - and they look good, too.Durability will take time to assess, but they have survived over 200 miles of crushed limestone trails so far. The three fender segments (split front and single rear), seem quite strong, yet flexible, though the brackets provide only one connection point for each. So expect some flapping as you ride, which would be amplified when on rougher terrain. Those stresses would likely cause additional wear on the brackets and their connection points, in particular.Installation Details:Simply clamping to the seat post, the rear fender bracket attached to the bike quickly and without problems. I expect this method of attachment to fit just about any bike. The double-jointed plastic arm allowed me to position the rear fender as desired. (When you add the length of that arm to the rear fender, you’ll realize there is a lot hanging off the seat post. This is where you’ll encounter most of the flapping. Also, be careful not to catch it with your leg as you mount the bike.)Moving to the front, the fender bracket fit my bike’s fork perfectly and by following the printed instructions the installation was quick and easy. Note: Although not required, removing the front wheel may make the job of attaching the fender bracket a little easier because the tire gets in the way. The prescribed installation of the front fender bracket, however, depends on the fork. An opening in the underside of the fork’s crown (or head tube, depending on the type of fork you have) is necessary to insert the expansion core and connector that bolts to the fender bracket. Expansion cores of different sizes are provided to help achieve the proper fit. But if the expansion core doesn’t work on your bike, then you can try bolting the bracket through the side wall of the fork - if you have holes for it.Conclusion:I like these fenders/mud flaps enough that I bought a second set for another bike of mine. Its tires are not nearly as wide as the fat-tire bike but wide enough to still look good. The fat-tire bike tires are 26” x 4” and the other bike’s tires are 27.5” x 2.35”.

Pretty Decent with the rack
Should be wider/longer as moisture still sprays past the fender despite only a 4.0 rear. Still far better than no fender at all. I snuck this fender in underneath of my rack but had to mcgiver a zip tie through the top of the fender and around the rack to prevent the knobby tired from rubbing it. The main issue with these fenders is that the coverage isn’t really adequate for a fat bike. Probably more suited to mountain bikes.

They are on, not much to say, on for the price
They look great on my bike, lightweight, product feels cheap, thinking about painting them, front fender not very stable, I have to correct the position all times when I hit the trails, tightened it good I think, was afraid not to brake the fittings that go inside the bike tube, I’ll try to tighten them a bit more when I get some free time. Overall not bad.
