These look very nice in our pantry and the seal on them to keep food fresh is great.

These jars are very esthetically pleasing and they suit my decor very well with their beautiful bamboo lids. The glass jar portion is very clear and shiny. The bamboo lids aren't identical (because wood is unique) and I really like that! Each of the 4 jars are a different size. They're air-tight and the silicon lid seals work very well; the suction sound/feeling when you pull the lid off of the jar is incredibly satisfying. They've been keeping my candy very fresh; after a week in these jars, the candy is as soft and fresh tasting as it was the day I opened the bag.These jars are designed to be stacked, one on top of the other, to take up less counter space. They stack well and feel solid; no wobbling, even when they're full. And you can stack them in any order you like, regardless of jar size (doesnt have to be biggest-smallest or smallest-biggest). I like that I can see what's inside them, whether for inventory purposes or whether I'm using the jars and their contents as decor. These jars hand wash well and don't hold odor - very important when dealing with food! The jar openings are wide enough to be compatible with a spoon or tongs, and they're also big enough that I can just reach inside them to retrieve their contents.I really like these air-tight storage jars, they are equally beautiful and functional. As an added bonus, they make me feel slightly more adult when chowing down on the brightly colored gummy candy that I keep inside. At least now it is displayed in a beautiful way and not hidden away in a ziploc bag at the bottom of a drawer, where it will inevitably be forgotten. These glass storage jars with bamboo lids are exactly what I expected after reading through the product listing, no surprises upon receipt. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these jars.

This is a pretty decent set of jars. I can see a hipster coffee shop having these around. The seals are pretty tight, except for one where it's pretty loose (I'm assuming it's not supposed to be like this). The glass feels pretty brittle but should withstand regular use.Good additions to your kitchen if you don't mind the steep price tag.

These spice jars are of good lightweight glass (one survived a fall from counter to ceramic tile floor without damage). The lids have a silicone seal that gives a satisfying pop when you put it on or take it off, but they are NOT airtight as claimed. (That's why I gave them four stars instead of five.) Three of the four were watertight, and the fourth only leaked a tiny bit in one place, so it's a decent seal. All four lids in my set are different colors -- light to dark, uniform to very obvious grain -- which I happen to like. Bamboo is a natural product, after all. There's a small hole/indent (?) in each lid on the top. It doesn't go all the way through and I can't tell what purpose it serves, I only mention it because the top of the lid isn't totally flat and smooth. (The hole is barely visible in one of the pictures on the item description; it's about 3/4 inch wide and just under 1/2 inch deep.My hands are getting older (just like the rest of me, go figure) and these spice jars are going to be wonderful for me. The glass is heavy enough to do the job but lightweight. The lids do provide a decent seal but are easy to get off. The lids stay on until I pop them off with minimal effort, don't need to be grasped firmly and unscrewed. They seem as airtight as the jars spices come in when I buy them. I'm very satisfied, and if the description hadn't claimed to be airtight, I'd have given them five stars.

I really wanted to like these better than I do. Upon opening the box they arrived in, I accidentally bumped two together very lightly and one of the containers broke into pieces. I was perplexed at the breakage, but after I examined the glass the remaining ones were made of, it became apparent that the glass is very lightweight. The positive to lightweight glass is that these aren't heavy at all, they seem lighter than they should be. The downside to this lightweight glass is that the containers aren't very durable.The second part of a container like this is the lid. The silicone seal on the wooden lids seems substantial and provides a good seal. The wood lid itself, however, is roughly cut wood with sharp edges and a rough feel. Hubs sanded the splinters and sharp edges down which helped the way the lids feel, but at this price, there should be higher quality workmanship on the lids and more durable glass for the containers. For the price, this is not a good value.
