Great alternative to expensive OEM parts!
My '01 Lincoln Navigator started acting very odd: mild misfires (not enough to throw a code,) and we could see the THEFT light flash at the same time. The pros & dealer wanted HUGE money to diagnose/fix the problem...which they had NO IDEA about incidentally. Since the SUV had over 150k-miles, I knew the plugs and the coils were fatigued. I decided to change them myself as a last-ditch effort before flushing $1000+ at a shop. These fixed the problem! These coils fit perfectly, are well made, and (2 months later) the Navi is running like she did at 50k-miles! Their performance is excellent. The gas mileage went from 9mpg to 18mpg on the highway, and the power feels like it doubled!Look, changing the plugs on these darn Fords is a nightmare (took this old greaser about 7-hours,) but was WELL WORTH IT. Be very careful removing the old plugs, as the aluminum heads can strip. Good luck!

It works. Had to give it 5 stars
ONLY IN CAR ONE DAYI knew that my coil was bad ("service engine soon" light came on ) Advance Auto scanned it for me.... code? but it said: miss in cylinder 5 . To be sure it was the coil I reset the onboard computer and swapped it out with no. 6. In a day or two "service engine soon" light came on. Took it back and it said no.6. It was the coil. Advance Auto wanted about 46 for their brand coil. I needed to watch the expenses on a 98 Lincoln with 190k. I need to watch the expenses. More power? Better gas mileage? Only used one to get the car from rough idle, hesitation and very poor gas mileage to normal bad gas mileage (Lincoln 98, 8 cyl. 4.6L DOHC) So, I'm back to bad gas mileage .....not terrible...yay!

Great Coils
I installed these coils on my 2003 Lincoln Aviator. The difference was very noticable. I had the vehicle into the shop 3 times to address a rough idle. They were not able to fix it, telling me everything was fine. They replaced two coils when the check engine light came on; but the idle was still rough when compared to other Aviators. I saw an article on a mechanic's forum about poor performing coils that are not detectable by normal shop procedures. The cost to purchase the 8-pack of coils was less than one service visit to replace one! The repair is a simple do-it-yourself job taking about 40 minutes to complete. You simply remove the coil coverplates, unplug the coils, remove the coils and reverse the process with the new coils. The engine now runs smooth and the pulling power is back to where it used to be.

I purchased a "used set" of coils for my car. The add said they were new but had damaged packaging. When I received them I could not see any damage to the packaging but did find that 2 of the 8 coils had misaligned plug boots. I simply gave the boots a little twist and they were just fine. I will gladly take a nice discount for a 5 second repair. Coils work great, I am very satisfied. Thank you.

Replaced Mazda coils with these
At $20 each for these powerful coils, versus $95 each for the wimpy Mazda ones, these were a no-brainer & I replaced all 6 & threw the old Mazda ones away, without knowing which was on the blink, which left me 2 spares, if I ever need them...The 4V ones (p/n 140034-8 designed for 4 valve per cylinder engines) have no hold-down bracket & take a little more headroom, but didn't need me to fashion some kind of home-made bracket for the V6 Mazda, since the rear ones are held in place by the inlet manifold & the front ones by the engine cover. The engine does seem to more responsive, as claimed by Accel.Very happy with this product....

Ordered these using the easy search engine to find the right fit for my 4.6 mustang 2valve but I got 4 valve coils and I was set back. I would love to put them in but they don't fit. Now I have to do what I didn't want to do and go to the auto parts store and pay extra. Or perhaps buy another set on prime as its faster to make another order than to wait for an exchange. I have lost enough time and I need my transportation. I will return the product. Thank you.

Installed in car and seem to work fine. A good deal as can't even buy them here, where we live.

Perfect for 4 valve mustangs
Fits my mach1 like the factory plugs perfectly. But no noticeable performance gain.
