I ordered this based on the description that it’s a swimming parka, but it’s not, unless you are ok with the inside fleece being heavy when wet. The robe’s label itself call it ‘outdoor dry robe’.I think this is fantastic for kids who play soccer or outdoor sports in general when the weather is cold.The material is good and it has 2 inside pockets: one with a zipper where you can put stuff that you’d be worried about losing, and the other is a big accessible pocket for quick access to whatever you want to put it in it. That’s in addition to 3 external pockets.This is great for outdoors but for swimming I don’t think so, unless it’s outdoor swimming and the weather is cold then this will be a good solution. I added a picture to compare the materials of a speedo swimming parka to this one so you can see the difference.

I put this jacket on every morning so I'm not cold. The sherpa lining definitely keeps me warm as I hate being cold. For reference I'm 5'11" and the s-m size comes to just above my knees. This length is perfect for me because I don't like a jacket that goes past my knees. The arms are a little too short for me and resemble a 3/4 length instead of full length. The zippers seem to be of good quality and hopefully they last because that seems like the first thing to go on most of my jackets. I have worn this outside and it did a decent job of protecting me from the wind, but I mostly just use this as an indoor robe. I could see me using this for a beach trip or a camping adventure too.. Overall a quality product.

Why they advertise this as a poncho I do not know. This is a gorgeous long coat with sleeves and a zipper front that comes down to my knees and I am 5' 11". It has soft simulated lamb wool on the inside and a good waterproof nylon outer shell. Big pockets inside and out, and a big hood. This will keep you stylish and warm in the coldest blizzard, but you can wear it when you get out of the pool as well after you have won your 3rd Olympic gold medal in swimming. I love this coat!

I got this swim parka for my teenage boy. He attends a swim team. This is perfect for him to wear for swimming practice or swim meet. He is 5'6", the size small fits him perfect, exactly fits like shown on the stock photo. The outer shell is waterproof fabric, but the inside is fleece which is warm and soft. For size small, the body section appears oversized, but the length for the sleeves and body is regular fit. The stitches and sewing for this swim parka appear very good. I didn't see any loose thread. The zippers appears functional and easy to use. Overall, no complaints at all. Son is very happy with this swim parka.

I really love this coat.The quality is really solid and the aesthetic is better than expected.This feels more secure and outdoor worthy than even sleeping bags.This looks almost like a normal long coat, but comes with all the extra perks of truly secure pockets.Really happy with this overall.
