Review: Pricey but good - These speed paints are very easy to paint with since they come pretty nicely pre thinned and they dry within a minute or two notably the zealot yellow and pallid bone paints are much more transparent than the other paints so you could use them like a wash after your minis main paint scheme is done like I did for the commando (picture 6) this product is pretty pricey though which turned me off from this product for a while but I think it’s worth it as even after painting 8 miniatures none of the colors I used were noticeably depleted owing a lot to how long it lasts on a wet pallet my only issue with the product itself is the fact that because I’m painting battletech minis pallid bone and especially peachy flesh don’t get much use with the stompy robots but that’s clearly an issue of what I’m painting and not with this set of speed paints
Review: A very versatile paint product. - Had to really learn how to use it. It definitely has a learning curve, especially painting things that are largely one color like space marines. But once you figure that out it becomes very flexible colors mix together well. Most of my orks are blends of green yellow and brown. So buying the starter set is enough to really figure it out and experiment. This paint really does alot of the heavy lifting of bringing out the highlights and shadows. The other nice thing about this paint is a little goes a long way 5 drops of a color is normally enough to finish a whole model. So you really get your money's worth.

## Features

- 🎨 Paint miniatures fast with just one coat. Speedpaint delivers vibrant, highly pigmented colour in one easy step, helping you spend less time at the hobby desk. Apply a generous coat over a light-coloured primed miniature and let the specially designed paint flow across the sculpted surface.
- 📦 Start your miniature paint collection with 10 x 18ml bottles, including 9 Speedpaint colours and 1 Speedpaint Metallic. A Basecoat Brush is also included, giving beginners a versatile selection for getting started with fantasy, sci-fi, historical, and other miniature painting projects.
- ⚡ Get great results faster, even if you're new to miniature painting. Speedpaint's highly pigmented, water-based acrylic formula provides smooth, vibrant colour in fewer steps, helping beginners paint with confidence while experienced painters can finish armies and other projects faster.
- 🖌️ Start with a light-coloured primed miniature, shake the bottle thoroughly, load your brush, and apply one generous coat. Speedpaint flows into sculpted details to create darker shadows while pulling away from raised edges for natural-looking highlights as it dries.
- 🎲 Paint Warhammer miniatures, Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) characters, RPG figures, board game miniatures, and 3D printed models with an easy-to-use range of colours. Every bottle includes two stainless steel Mixing Balls, making it easier to mix the paint to a smooth, consistent finish.

The Army Painter Speedpaints are a game-changer for mini painting. They flow smoothly, settle naturally into recesses, and create great shading with minimal effort. The colors are vibrant but still realistic, making them perfect for painting minis or figures fast. They’re easy to control, don’t get chalky, and save a ton of time compared to traditional basecoat + wash methods.
