Finally a small compact par light they can be used for the professional light person or the mobile DJ with a mixer or without a mixer. Because of the DMX in addition to a hand remote control you can use this par light any way you want it it's a perfect addition to your light set up. For me I bought it for our karaoke set up that we use at our church. It adds hundreds of different light combinations. You can wash your your stage with a variety of numbers, you can set up a strobe, and multicolor's, or you can use a white light it makes a great par spot effect. The remote control is so easy to use. Only a few buttons. It makes setting the speed color are your preset programs a breeze to use on the fly. In fact for karaoke it's even better as you can set it for sound activation or color chase the music pops to the lights it's a great addition to your light set up and in fact if it's the only light you have it's the most versatile light in your kit. One of the most fascinating benefits of this light is it's so easy to carry. It adds literally no weight to your rode box. About the size of any other par light it's about 90% lighter. I use these lights mainly in sound active mode with DMX cables to sync the action. These lights do not "strobe out" like cheaper brands but instead, change with the music giving a wonderful light show. The lights remain cool during operation and take up very little space in the minivan (very important because my sound equipment takes up so much space). I would and will buy this COB PAR light again and JLPOW has tremendous products, the strobes I purchased are still going strong. These little buggers are pretty darn good! They are brighter than I'm expecting them to be. There are three separate LEDs (Red, Green and Blue), so transitioning slowly around the color wheel there were some jumps and harsh transitions. But if you aren't looking at it, or do not do rainbow fades, this is the light for you! Beam angle says 25°, but it does wash a good section. Dislikes: * Fan is audible. About 20db. If you are using this for a show, obviously you won't notice. But in a room, for ambient lighting, it's "loud". * Minor harsh transitions off of the primary colors when fading between colors. * No ability to chain power. * High-Pitched Noise on LED (Audible up to 7 feet away) Now, even with those dislikes, I mitigated two of them, because it is extremely easy to open. I removed the fan and purchased a heatsink and thermal paste to dissipate the heat from the LEDs, the backplate does get over 100°F. This made it ALMOST silent (now I hear the high-pitched noise which the fan was covering up). Secondly, I removed the NEMA 1-15P connector and put on a C14 as it suits my needs better. Additionally, I added a 12v-to-5v stepdown converter (inside the casing) so I can power my Wireless DMX receiver. The first in the rows have a mini barrell jack coming out the back to power the receiver so I do not need to waste another outlet. It's ALMOST PERFECT after modification.

This is a small size light intended for small rooms with dmx and it is just that. It's not bright and it has pretty noticeable fan noise. From the beginning, I thought I could live with the fan noise so I did but after 3-4 months, the fan noise has just increased to the point that one of them sounds like the fan is scratching against a hard surface and at this point, I can hardly recommend it. I gave it a three star review because it is budget-friendly and it works if you don't mind fun noise and you need it for a small room.

This light was exactly what I was looking for! I will be doing my first performance with lighting effects and I was looking for an affordable light that could do a lot, and this was it. I am performing solo so I didn't need something large. The light is plenty bright for coloring a very small group or soloist (a larger group would obviously need more than one light). The controller is simple and easy to use. The only thing I would have liked it to have is the ability to go straight to any color rather than having to scroll through them. It also does have the necessary programmings and inputs that I should be able to buy cable and software to control it with a computer in the future.

I feel like a rock star. one single light will do the trick. If you are looking for the perfect wash light for your gigs, purchase this light. it is light, doesn't get hot. colors and changing options make this the perfect multipurpose light. We use this as our only light and it can be as subtle as you want or as bright as a club show. Reviews talk about a fan that can be heard...it is a silent whisper at best in complete silence. Only heard it when silent PA system was turned off (PA system board has a fan which is louder) Mountable. We just put it next to our monitor on floor and let it wash away. Only thing I don't use is the auto feature to sync to beat. I feel its too sensitive for our duo. Probably cool with multiple lights and DJ set up. Purchase this

This is a really great stage light. - It is very affordable - It has alot of light settings i wont even get into details with it because there is alot to say about it. - It also has brightness adjustments - The remote is a very great touch because to be honest the numbers in the back kind of confused me when i wasnt using the remote - Its really bright and has alot of colors to choose from

Nice lights. Relatively quiet. But the build quality, coming from China as expected, is questionable. I ordered a bunch of them and several had problems. The QC on these lights is not very good. Will report more after I put them through their paces more. UPDATE: After having the lights for several months, they have now begun malfunctioning and no longer responding to DMX commands. These have turned out to be a complete waste of money. Extremely disappointed. Will have to replace with something else. They now just randomly change colors and ignore DMX commands.
