Probably a good sharpener but it's huge and the tungsten bits are small. I got like the enormous size and the tiny tungsten stones. I purchased it as a mobile sharpener but it is double the size of any other tool I had so far and it is not good to cary. The adjustable angle Smith's it's almost same size and million times better (again not suitable to cary in your tool bag as is too large but excellent for a home sharpener) My advise if you don't mind the size go for the one with the adjustable angle. If you do mind the size don't go for this Pro version but for the normal one (I previously owned one and it's great tool in fear size) This is twise the size of the normal version.

Me ha funcionado muy bien, muy intuitiva de usar, tiene un buen instructivo al interior de la caja por lo que no es necesario indagar más al respecto. El filo en cuchillos se siente con unas cuantas pasadas, sin embargo, en cuchillos con más uso el número de pasadas deberá ser mayor para conseguir el mismo efecto. Los materiales se sienten de calidad. Me queda la duda acerca de donde conseguir repuesto de las partes de desgaste.

O afiador é perfeito, deixa a lâmina uma navalha. Veio bem embalado. Sem queixas quanto ao produto adquirido. O maior inconveniente foi a mudança da data de entrega umas tantas vezes. Demorou mas chegou.

I had modest expectations as I typically sharpen my woodworking tools, and my knives, with diamond stones - and this is a LOT cheaper option. But I didn't like sharpening scissors, so I gave this a shot. To date, it has worked well in bringing some old "dull as can be" scissors back to life, and also worked well on a few pair that were already in pretty good shape. As for the knife sharpening feature, it does reasonably well unless you must have or just want the absolute highest quality edge. The results have been far more than adequate for a pocket knife, and I also sharpened a few dull kitchen knives as well. Some knives required only a few swipes on the fine edge, but it also worked well on others that required a bit of work on the coarse edge first. It is easy to use and can work for both left and right handed scissors. Just remember to use the correct side depending on the orientation of your scissors (it is clearly marked, I just didn't pay attention the first swipe). While it is all plastic, the sharpener feels sturdy. The black rubber gives you the right amount of grip, and while I am no hiker, I think the plastic handle/clip mechanism combined with the tacky black rubber would keep it where you intended, even on the outside of your pack or if clipped to other gear. My only complaint (minor) is that it feels a little awkward when you sharpen scissors. Assuming you hold the scissors in your right hand as would be expected for those who are right handed, you have to hold the sharpener in your left, which means you are holding the "leg" with the sharpening mechanism when in use. It feels as if it would have been perfect if the left and right handed scissors sharpener configuration were reversed. That said it just took a few swipes to get comfortable - and not many more to finish the job. I am pleased with the purchase and my wife likes it as well. She was a little scared to sharpen scissors or knives, but feels safe using this tool. We would recommend it to others who do not need a surgical quality edge. I suspect I will be using it more often than not for all of our scissors, and almost all of our knives.

I bought these about a year ago specifically to sharpen my scissors, but they don't do a good job. I followed the instructions but I am not happy with the results. I haven't tried sharpening knives but for scissors they are not effective. Sadly, as far as I am concerned this was a waste of money.
