DRIVE Aluminium Underarm Crutches (Adult), 114cm

Just had Achilles tendon surgery so I needed crutches. These were a good price and are sturdy, easily adjustable and lightweight. I needed some that were made for a heavier individual and these fit the bill. Not a purchase one wants to have to make but worth the price if you need them.

These crutches are easy to use when you cannot put weight on an arthritic ankle. They adjust easily to your height and also to your arm length. I've used mine for a couple of months now, am learning different ways of operating them and find them versatile and neat.

Lo pedí ayer miércoles y me llega hoy jueves, aunque habían dicho que tardaría una semana.La calidad es muy buena y solida. Muy fácilmente adaptables a varias alturas. Desde luego, son mucho mas cómodas y practicas que lo que se llama ahora "muletas", y que se llamaban antes "bastones ingleses", o sea, los bastones cortos que solo llegan por debajo del codo, y que cargan el peso en los brazos.Con estas ando mucho mas tiempo, y con mucha menos fatiga.Es raro que no se encuentren con facilidad. Las modas, que cambian. Pero a los que tenemos problemas de huesos, esas muletas nos solucionan muy bien.
