Defiantly help with sound reduction from the outside but they honestly do not have any stickiness to then so get your own double sided tape but yeah

The sticky tape doesn’t hold
Great product if you don’t need it to stick on. Had to buy my own double back tape to keep on door fraim even after cleaning with wipes that came with the product did not hold on well at all. Don’t think I’d buy this product again

Great product
Pay attention to dimensions. This product was exactly what I needed and the exact length I needed with little extra.Make sure you clean and prep your surface well no dust no oils , as with ANY two sided tape especially 3M VHB tape and it will adhere properly and indefinitely.This seal had a small amount of stretch so it was good around corners, compression was perfect with the correct gap between mating surfaces.Was quite durable during installation on my test piece, during my R and D process was reasonably difficult to remove, after curing for 1 week it required a heat gun a blade and some solvent to completely remove it. Pulling and tearing it off did not work as it would come off in very small chunks.Installed on my camper bunk door which is always exposed to water in the rain and snowTested in the rain and it stood up very well.Not a drop made it though.I look forward to seeing it’s long term durability.
