Excellent growing medium for carnivorous plants
This carnivorous plant potting mix has been excellent for my drosera and venus flytrap plants! Even the sphagnum moss is growing well on top of it. Although the quantity could better, I believe the price justifies the quality of the potting mix as these plants do require a specialised mix of fertiliser-free medium. It was packaged neatly in a sealed bag and was clean with no signs of infestation. I would happily order this again for my future carnivorous plant needs.

WASH IT FIRST OR KILL YOUR CARNIVORUS PLANTS
The soil itself is a great medium after you wash it thoroughly with distilled/RO/deionised water. The soil contained quite a lot of minerals/salts. The run-off from potting and first watering was well into the 400's ppm. Anyone who grows carnivorus plants will have a heart attack seeing those numbers that high. This soil, left in this condition, without being washed would most definitely kill ANY carnivorus plant within weeks. You can wash it through as I described or put your plants outside during rain and let the water run right through without a tray to catch it. This will also fix the problem and you'll be good to go.
