My cat loves this scratching post and I can easily move it wherever it is needed based on his routine. I have a small apartment and multiple scratching posts aren’t ideal, but if he’s enjoying a nap with me I know I can bring it into the bedroom and he’ll stay close by if he gets up before me. Training him to use the right scratching tools is easier if they are accessible when/where he needs them. The wall mounted ones save space, but they are fixed and his tower is too bulky to travel. This keeps up with him and is easy to plop in front of him if he starts in on something I’d rather him not scratch in.The little balls stay put, unlike some of his other toys where I’m pulling couches and appliances out to recapture escaped victims. It’s inexpensive enough that if I ever have to replace it, I won’t mind. But it’s durable enough that I’m not inclined to have to replace it anytime soon. It’s a simple and unobtrusive look that easily abuts a wall or counter so doesn’t interfere with the flow of the space, the color is neutral enough that it won’t conflict with a design scheme, and it is thin enough that it can likely find space in varied positions alongside, behind, or between furniture. It performs its duties perfectly, without complaint, and seems to enjoy the cat’s affections. So we’re going to keep this one and may find it a partner one day.

To say that my cat love this scratch pad would be a gross understatement she stands there and scratches for minutes at a time the upward design is just perfect for her. It’s lasted a long time and I am definitely going to by a new one soon

My two cats love this product. I have bought several of them and placed them strategically around the house to keep my cats who are scratchers from tearing up the couch and chairs for the most part. It does deter them, but the cardboard does turn into tiny little pieces that my dogs eat so it can be a little messy. It’s pretty sturdy and doesn’t fall over when they dig their claws into it.

I had to replace a scratcher next to the couch to keep the cats from actually starting on the couch. This is perfect! One immediately wanted to scratch and likes that she can stretch too. The other one is obsessed with the toys in the scratcher. Easy to put together, took less than 10 minutes and feels sturdy. I consider this a great value and will order more!

Kitties approved! We bought this over a year ago and it’s still in good shape. The best part is that you can reverse the cardboard from the unscratched part to get longer use. Very easy to assemble. You can also buy a replacement main board which are cheaper if you can’t spend the extra money to buy a brand new set. I haven’t been able to find the smaller boards but that’s ok. This was just our preference when money is tight. The design holds up wicked good! Cats love it so much compared to a regular flat scratcher. The L shape allows them to stretch and scratch upward if they choose. We have 3 other types of scratches around the house and they use this one the most. Technically you should have more then one scratcher ( and litter box) if you have more then one cat and have them in different rooms especially if you have more then one floor in your home.I add cat nip every 2-3 days. Even without fresh catnip they’ll still scratch it. Our two cats also like to sleep and lounge on it when they’re not scratching it. They don’t scratch our furniture either, especially our youngest kitty. She always had scratchers to use so I think because we had these available to her as a kitten, it helped a lot so she wasn’t scratching our carpets and furniture. The other cat is a rescue who was around 5 years old when we got her. She used to scratch the carpets and furniture at her previous home because she’s never had a scratcher before but once we introduced this to her, She’ll only scratch this. I will definitely purchase this again because the quality is so great!

Scratch pads intact, but the fishy odor is horrible.

Bought this scratcher in an attempt to get my cat to stop scratching the doorframe. It has worked!Design seems sturdy and both cats like laying on it after they scratch. It is big enough for our chunky girl to lay on it. The scratch pads seem to be a great value, but it’s so cheap I might just order another one so both cats can sleep on it!

Our cats loved this scratcher. The design helps keep the area clean and the cats loved having both a vertical and horizontal surface. The only thing that we didn’t love is that once it’s over scratched, there’s no way to replace the boards or anything so it’s a one time use. It would be neat to have a refillable piece to get more life out of it. It lasted about 2 months for us.
