This is a really nice XLR to type C cable. For use with and works well with Samsung products or any other requiring a C port. It produces a good-quality microphone sound to an Android device.

I may have miss read the description here. But if you have a mic that requires phantom power, doesn't matter what usb port you use, you MUST have a pre-amp to get any kind of usable output from your mic which means you need either a dedicated mic pre-amp, or a mixer or audio interface, both of which have built-in pre-amps.I wanted to simplify a setup, and thought the USB-PD port would work for my case since it can charge my laptop. But that was not the case at least with my AT2035.

It gives good sound, but the cable is too short. In title it says 6FT (which I did not notice), but in description it says 12-15FT so I assumed it would be either 12 or 15 ft which was good for me. But it really is 6 ft. Too short for my setup. But it's a good cable, if you don't mind the length.

This worked perfectly for connecting my XLR microphone to my computer for streaming and web calls. 3 feet of cable was more than enough to reach with the computer on top of the desk. You may find it a bit short if the computer is under the desk. the cable is soft and malleable feels to be a good quality and the retaining clip is metal and holds securely to the microphone. I don’t believe I lost any sound quality through the cable however, if this is something you are concerned about you probably have very special cables already in mind and a much fancier set up than me.

I use a specific mixer and microphones for some of the work I do and will occasionally need to connect a different type of mic to the mixer I use.This has always been a bit clunky with adapters and inferior microphones.With this cable I plug in one end to the mic and the other to the USB C port on that channel on the mixer and it simply works perfectly.A great cable with perfect signal and works like a charm.Older mic to newer input made easy.
