These were bought as a Christmas gift for my son and he really likes them.

It says that you can use for nuclear but there's nothing in there for it

It has a very tight seal I put it on without the canister and almost passed out I’m very happy with this mask

Disappointed. Ordered 3 and all 3 came with damaged organic vapor canister packages. Assuming not to be exposed to air but all 3 packages had holes in them. Also the production date of the Metal Filter on all 3 said July 3, 2023 and that is 3 weeks away!! Not sure if these are good or not. They look old and repacked with a fake date. Mask overall looks and feels good with airtight seal is the only positive. Also there is no base for the side filters of the mask. You will have to buy that on your own. All boxes shipped were damaged and retaped. Doesn’t look used but who knows. Very disappointed and can’t return. I sent a note to the seller. Will see how they respond and whether I edit my review.

Until I saw this product, I was unaware of the availability of multi-purpose gas mask/respirators. The ability to use both the 3M style bayonet filters and 40mm can filters gives it a ton of versatility. Sometimes you just need to protect against grinding dust or fumes from household chemicals and paints, and the respirator fills that role nicely. If you need to protect against something more serious you can use the 40mm activated charcoal filters. The integrated face shield protects your eyes from dust, debris, as well as acrid fumes and provides for excellent visibility.This mask utilizes independently adjustable head straps, but to avoid pressure points on the back of the head uses a netting to spread out the load. There is also a neck strap to hold it if you want to take it off temporarily. The included protective bag is pretty thin and had a couple holes worn in it when I opened it, but still keeps the face shield safer from scratches when in storage.The 3M style, bayonet mount filters come with replaceable N95 particulate pre-filters which are combined with the included organic vapor cartridges. More effective particulate filters can be had as well, and you can source 3M style filters designed to protect against a variety of specific chemical threats. The included can filter was only three months into its 5 year expiration, so very fresh.When properly adjusted the mask seals well, and adjustment is easy. Be sure not to lose the filter port seals as you will need them when you switch filter types.I love the flexibility of this style of mask and definitely recommend it over the less versatile respirators or gas masks out there.
