YES! YES! I love standerdized barrel plugs, but V mount style batteries are weird. Some have a 12 and 8 volt plug, but both are different sizes. I have an aresenal of equipment, some require 12 volt, but the barrel jack is not as big as the barrel jack on battery. This plugs allow me to plug what ever i want dispite the barrel jack size allowing me to tap into using the barrel ports on the battery. Quality is decent for what you pay, and lengtch is just right for your camera rig. I do wish the plugs were 90 degree and not straight up.

Was able to use these to turn on/off my vintage denon POA-2800 amp with a PRA-1500 pre-amp. Even though the connection sizes are slightly different, 2.5mm and 2.1mm, it still worked. I did eventually buy 2.1 to 2.5 extension, but did that just because I needed a little more length.

I am a mobile DJ who performs over 75 mobile events a year and bought these about 3 years ago when the EV Everse 8 speaker was released. They are still going strong today with no issues. I highly recommend them. I needed this converter wire to power my Sennheiser EW-DX receiver placed on top of the Everse 8 speaker. The Sennheiser receivers for EW-D series and the EW 100 G4 series have a 5.5 mm outer/2.1mm inner DC power input while the Everse 8 & 12 speakers have a 5.5mm outer/2.5mm inner DC output. These cables are still going strong today. Very good and thick guage DC wire. They also power up the Alto Stealth Pro receivers for wireless reception for satellite speakers when needed. Make sure the cable has the white tab on the 5.5mm/2.1mm end. It helps to identify the two.

Who figured that a 'standard' 12v socket wasn't standard. I needed to go from a Celestron battery pack which uses the standard 12v socket to a Meade ETX that uses an almost standard socket. Problem solved with this cable. Nicely made with good fit and finish. Solved the problem and fits perfectly at each end.

Hard to find in this configuration. They work perfectly on my guitar pedal board
