Deluxe Materials - Plastic Magic Glue

Plastic Magic is my favourite glue to use when building miniatures, I've tried others but not found one as good as this.This particular glue is super thin consistency so goes on in a thin coat which helps to reduce excess glue on the joints. It's best to apply the glue to both contact points as it works by melting the plastic to bond the contact points together. For this reason it can't be used on painted surfaces as it won't work properly. It must be a clean surface.It's quite quick drying so it's important to make sure that the pieces to be glued fit together properly and are positioned correctly as you don't get long to correct the positioning once the pieces are pushed together.The application brush is small and thin which helps with accurate application and as a bonus you get an extra longer brush to use when the level of glue in the bottle is getting low, so you can reach every last bit of glue and not waste any.I've had a few bottles of this now and will continue using it as it does a great job.

Tamiya make an excellent selection of different glue types for styrene but this one does pretty much everything - including ABS - and does it well. It thoughtfully comes in a wide bottle that helps avoid tipping, and comes with two different length brushes to access it all. Oh, and it smells nice: not an unimportant feature when you're using it all day long.

As god as Tamiya Extra thin... does the job.

One of the best plastic glues on the market. It has a little bit more working time than the Tamiya extra thin, so it makes it great for if you have to make adjustments (it's not that much working time though, so still you should test positions with blu tac first)I was recommended this glue for conversions though, and I agree it definitely has more room for error than other high end plastic glues.

I find that this product is perfect for my modelling needs. I really can’t fault it, it’s easy to use and has a very fast adhesion time. It’s also very clean to use with no mess or stains.All in all I can highly rate this glue and fully recommend it.

Good product, enable me to build my sons brick dinosaur and now it doesn’t fall apart just looking at it.Need to use in a well ventilated area as it stinks

Probably great on the right plastics but unfortunately useless on my car bumper. Don't know what plastic the bumper is. I resorted to a black hot glue stick. That did the job. I'm sure that there will be many other jobs it will be suitable for.

I have been using Plastic Magic for many years. You can position the items before adding the solution, which quickly wicks along the joint. I haven’t found another plastic glue that works as well as this, provided the pieces you are glueing have a good physical contact. Would definitely recommend.
