The chain was easy to install and kept our storm door from getting damaged during recent windy weather. The auxiliary spring retractor is a feature that I had not seen before on these chains, and it really helps keep the chain out of the way when the door is closed or partially closed. Definitely a good investment to avoid $60+ cost of replacing the hinges and/or piston of the door after it gets blown open violently (which happened to two prior storm doors).

My storm doors did not come with these spring chains and the wind immediately bent the closer. I straightened the closer and installed these. They come with screws that are the right length and easy to follow instructions. I needed two, so a set was a good deal.

I installed these on the double doors of a large wooden shed. They were easy to install using the included instructions. They work well at keeping the doors from being flung wide open by the wind and controlling the amount that they open.

This is a set of two spring chains you can attach to your screen door to prevent storm damage. It comes with two sets of chains w/springs and the hardware you need to attach them with. This won't automatically close your door but, if installed correctly, will prevent the wind from pulling it too far open for sure.

I installed both of these on my storm doors. They were easy to install and work as intended.

This seems to be the part of the door that gets broken easily when whipped with a hard wind or over stretched. I wasn't quite handy enough to replace this myself because I needed a screw gun to mount the hardware, but it was a quick fix for my storm door and wasn't difficult to install. It's just what I needed. And I'll have an extra if it happens again.
