Continental Unisex Contact Plus Reflex Tyre

Such a good tyre. A bit tough to get on the wheel, but this is normal for Continental as far as I've seen. Grip is really good even off tarmac. Also used in the snow, was great until it turned into sheet ice, but no real surprises there. Rolling resistance seems a little higher than some, but grip and versatility massively make up for this. Highly recommended.

Really happy with them so far. They seam to grip well and are a improvement on my last st of tyres.They look pretty good and the puncture protection and reflective strip are reassuring extras.

i really like the quality of this product. The tire do not make any noise with its treads. I like the fact that it has a barrier within it to protect it from having a flat tire.

Loved the feel of my first ride out today. Weather is/was sunny and hot here in the Tampa Bay area and the rubber was grippy and stable at 75psi. These are the 37x622 or 700x35's for the rest of us. Max psi is 85 but online suggestions seem to indicate 75 as the sweet spot. In looking over my bike telemetry today my ride looked to be about 1.5 to 2 mph faster than before them and that was with a still 14-15 kt headwind for part of my ride. Overall installing them was decent but not overly difficult however strong hands and fingers are a must and blisters will occur on your thumbs as you "knead" the tire onto the rim.The tires these replaced on my Specialized Sirrus 5.0 X is/are the exceptional Specialized Nimbus 2 Armadillo reflect at 700x32 which is in its own way a great tire with a slightly higher psi max of 100 but 90 worked for me. They are hard, rigid, roll well and tough to take off but with over 900 miles on them and they having a "slick" surface i exchanged them off for the summer tropical rainy season for peace of mind on my road work.Other reasons are that there is/are alot of construction trucks running around here in Manatee County with the building boom of homes so debris, sand, dirt and everything bad for a tire is present on the roadways and a little more tread and traction was in order.Overall these are a worthwhile investment. I am a big muscular guy at 5-11 255lbs and ride about 40 miles a week and these really smoothed out my ride a bit from the Nimbus. All in all you wont be disappointed and just need to exercise patience putting them on. I recommend watching the fine German produced lol..Continental installation video on proper technique. Ich habe Ersatz für meine 28mm Slicks gesucht, die waren mir zu unkomfortabel bei den teilweise desolaten Radwegen und ich wollte ein Profil das auch bei Nässe funktioniert. Natürlich spielte auch das Styling eine Rolle, is ja nen Singlespeed ;) Der limietierende Faktor für die Reifenbreite war in meinem Fall die hintere Gabel, die max. 36mm Breite zulassen würde....da müsste dann aber die Einstellung/Montage extrem genau sein und einem möglichen Schlauchwechsel unterwegs war mir das zu gewagt ;)Zum Reifen: Die Montage war super einfach (ist leider nicht bei allen Contis so ;) , der optische Eindruck ist toll. Der Komfort beim Fahren ist wirklich besser (obwohl es nur 4mm Breite mehr bei 0,2 Bar weniger sind), keine extremen Abrollgeräche und auch bei Schräglage in schnellen Kurven performt er sehr gut. Dazu kommt auch noch der Pannenschutz, der gerade in der Großstadt nen wichtiger Faktor ist.Ich habe meinen neuen Dauerreifen für mein Singlespeed gefunden, werde ihn wiederkaufen. Tolle Performance, tolle Optik, solider Preis... bin voll zufrieden.Als Vergleich habe ich auf meinem Winterrad den "Dauerlauf" von der Konkurrenz und meiner Meinung nach schlägt er den um längen. Werde ihn bei Bedarf auch dort montieren :)

Las llantas llegaron a tiempo, me gusto mucho la calidad ya tengo con ellas más de tres meses y me han resultado muy bien, mi bicicleta es mas liviana y tienen muy buena tracción.

Sehr guter Reifen, der bei mir als Ersatz für den Schwalbe G one dient, da ich deutlich mehr auf Asphalt als auf Waldwegen unterwegs bin. Der Continental Reifen ist im direkten Vergleich deutlich stabiler -aber durch den Pannenschutz auch schwerer. Man fühlt tatsächlich die extra Schicht auf der Lauffläche wenn man den Reifen in der Hand hat. Das zusätzliche Gewicht habe ich allerdings beim Fahren nicht gemerkt. Das Abroll- und Fahrverhalten ist bei trockener wie nasser Straße einwandfrei. Mit dem Reifen habe ich meine Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit etwa 1 - 1,5km/h erhöht, was vermutlich der etwas schmaleren Abmessung und dem Strassenreifen artigen Profil geschuldet ist. Die Montage war problemlos, lediglich die Laufrichtung (ist mit einem Pfeil angegeben, erkennt man aber auch am V-förmigen Reifenprofil) ist zu beachten. Als sehr positiv möchte ich den Reflektorstreifen an den Seite erwähnen. Dieser ist wirklich sehr gut und verbessert die Erkennbarkeit bei Dunkelheit oder Dämmerung enorm. Alles in allem kann ich den Continental Contact Plus Fahrradreifen uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
