I got this to use in my South Florida garage. It has been wonderful. The item is well made. Installs easily and has great options. I mounted it high up on the wall pointing down to the work space below so reaching the fan to change settings was unrealistic. I was worried that the remote control would not have robust choices, but it turns out you can control everything from the remote. You can control fan speed, whether or not it oscillates and what direction it points when not oscillating. It is great. With regard to fan speed, there ware several speed settings and the highest is very strong. Strong enough to keep me feeling comfortable in the garage on a sunny 95 degree South Florida summer. It s price was very reasonable for what you get. I highly recommend it.

This fan is great! I ordered 2. They are strong and I love the pull string on them. That was the main reason I picked these. They keep the air moving in my shop. I would definitely buy again!

I chose this item because of the size and price. Very happy with the fan. I however am very unhappy that it was shipped using USPS. USPS would not deliver because of it being oversized and over 40 pounds. This created a huge problem in that I am a over the road truck driver and my wife is disabled. The fan ended up having to stay at the post office for 5 days till I made it back home to go pick it up. VERY UNSATISFIED WITH HOW IT WAS SHIPPED!!!

A total waste of time and money. I ordered the twelve inch fan and they sent me a twenty inch. I figured I saved money on the larger fan, which really wasn't what I needed, but I could make it work. I could hear things rattling around in the box, which turned out to be most of the bolts. When I took the fan out of the box, the logo plate had already fallen off and dropped out on the floor. That was just a foreshadowing of what was to come. I plugged the fan in and it came on, but sounded like the blades were lopsided, making a lot of noise. The fan spun for about a minute and then gradually slowed down to a halt. I turned it off and back on, and from that point on could only get a buzzing noise, indicating the motor had frozen up. I now suspect that I got the "upgrade" because it was a return that they were trying to get rid of. And to top it off, I have to pay for the item to get picked up, because I'm not about to lug the big piece of junk to a drop-off location. I'm frankly getting tired of Amazon making it my job to get the product back to them when it's defective on arrival.

The fans are great, they move a LOT of air. I failed to realize how heavy 30lbs is when lifting to hang. They are a little loud, but that's only because they really move air! Not unbearably loud at all, just louder than your average fan. I would buy these again, but probably the 20". 24" was a bit over kill for my scenario. Love them.

Finally got this installed. It's a game changer for our back patio. Fairly easy to assemble despite the instructions. It runs quieter than I expected on all 3 speeds. Makes a difference in an East TX summer. Considering adding some others for garage too.
