Great to replace brake lines
This is perfect for replacement of brake lines that you cannot find any more. Has all the parts and the tools needed. Flares, nuts and lines

Worked well,got a tough job done,watch flares when making them
Worked good, replaced a long brake line,only problem was the flare tool split the brake line and had to be redone at the flare a couple times but overall a good deal

Replaced a brake line on a Nissan Xterra
The rear brake line had a hole in it on my Xterra and I used this to replace it. Bending the tube correctly isn't terribly intuitive, but It's worked well enough for 6mo or so.

TRASH !!!!!
Do not buy this junk. Very flimsy line for a brake on a vehicle. Wanted to see how it worked and it broke. Thank goodness this wasn’t my only option!!!! Single flange won’t cut it on a car. NOT MADE IN THE U. S. Very cheap material!!!!

Not for brake lines
Good value, should have been more clear that this is for SINGLE FLARE ONLY - not for brake lines. Mine leaked immediately with a single flare. Even with a double flare insert, there is not enough clearance to use it. Also if you unscrew the press too hard, it pops out and destroys itself. If you want to do a single flare for whatever reason, this is a perfect kit for a great value. Not useful for what I wanted (my fault I guess for not researching enough) But the press is now broken and in the trash.
