Does theirs have a direction? The pull tab accounts for insertion direction, but does not indicate if there is air flow direction.

Been having this filter installed for over 3 weeks. when I turn on the heat, I get that oily filter smell in cabin. is that normal?

I haven't had the same smell. But I only use the heat in the AM or late night so it's not on for too long
