This was much less expensive than the original branded equipment but is equally effective. It produces stunning French fries. It found it a little awkward to install each time on the rotary spit mechanism but I don't think that this is a fault of the basket, more a reflection of the design of the hot air fryer.It is a useful bit of kit and worth the money.

I was slightly unsure whether this would fit my Tower air fryer T17038.The listing says it's for a Tower air fryer, but doesn't give a model number; Tower give the model number which their own brand basket fits, but don't give its measurements. However, this basket seems to be a fairly standard size - I've only seen a couple which are larger - so worth a try. I'm pleased to say it's a perfect fit. It's both cheaper than the branded version, and arrives more quickly as it has Prime delivery, which is a definite plus.Do be aware it's just the rotisserie basket, though: you have to use the metal rod and thumbscrews which come with the oven. This seems to be common to all this type of basket (even Tower's own), and was made clear to me from the listing, though it seems to take many people by surprise.With my arthritic hands, I found it difficult to fit the thumbscrews as they're so close to the solid ends of the basket that there's not much room to manoeuvre; but once over that difficulty, and with the rod firmly fixed, it's easy to slot the basket into the oven or to remove it using the lifting tool supplied with the oven.I've tried the basket out on some homemade chips. They came out perfect, and it was great not to have to stop and turn them during the cooking process. I opened the basket on an old baking tray, which prevented the chips spilling everywhere.As others have said, there's not much room for anything else in the oven with the basket fitted. There's no space to fit a mesh shelf - but it might be possible to cook a couple of tiny items round the edges of the drip tray ...The basket is not huge, but it couldn't be any wider and still fit the rotisserie rod, and its diameter couldn't be more than 3/4" greater, or it wouldn't fit between the top and base of the oven. So it has its limitations, especially if cooking for a family. But it does what I need, and so far, I'm pleased with my purchase (I only got it a few hours ago).

It arrived damaged can’t close it not fit for purpose sending it back for a refund

Good addition to the Air fryer I think it would be better if it was included in the package when bought together.

Useful to use with rotsessire
