Aarke Purifier is a patented water filter pitcher made from glass and stainless steel. It features a refillable steel filter cartridge and one customized refill bag of Pure filter granules. The granules are poured into the filter cartridge and make your tap water cleaner, better and more pleasurable. A detachable silicone bumper is included. Review: Sustainable Choice! - This aarke Glass Water Pitcher with refillable stainless steel filter has been a lifesaver for me! I am living temporarily in our vacation home that relies on local public water supply. I was beside myself over the water tasting terrible and not being able to drink it. I even tried boiling it and that made no difference in the taste. I did a lot of research and debated between a water pitcher and a countertop one, or even something with reverse osmosis. For the short time I are here (3 months) I decided upon the water pitcher. I love this one! The glass so far is durable and I am so happy there are no plastic parts! Just what I was after. The value for the price paid isn’t great, however I truly couldn’t find anything else that fit the bill for me. I don’t mind having to replace the filters every 8 weeks since it makes a HUGE difference in the taste and smell of the water. I purchased the 5 cup one which is just right for me. It doesn’t take that long to fill it up. I transfer it into another glass pitcher and then fill this one up again so I always have great tasting water at my fingertips. As far as contaminants, I am not sure how to know how many it actually removes. I am mainly happy to be able to drink good water and not get all nervous and panicky not having any readily available. I am a big water drinker so it is important that it be good quality, which this seems to be. It is quite functional and even though a little bit heavy, it isn’t so bad. To me, it just means that it is solidly made. Thank you.

I love this water pitcher. I've been searching for something like this for years. San Diego water is blah on it's own. This device with it's purifying filters makes the water taste great! Ordered 1 day...had it the next. Easy to assemble...just the right size for a single person. Makes coffee taste great. Best of all...glass pitcher and metal interior. Dumped my old plastic Britta water system. Buy it! It's worth your time and money.
