GREAT Fans with a minor installation issue.
I bought these fans (2 sets of 3) because they have the extra set of reversable blades, which I wanted for a show-piece build. The supporting frame of the fans won't show when using them for intake fans, when you change to the reverse blades. Bottom Line I highly recommend them if you are controlling your fans from the motherboard's PWM and ARGB, and not using the "controller" others' have complained about. I have nothing bad to say about the controller, it is just that I did not need it for my build, since my Z690H motherboard controls and syncs PWM and ARGB for all fans. The fans are well built and solid; they light beautifully and run smoothly; and they are quiet at low to medium speeds. At full speed (my testing) they can be heard, but I cannot imaging needing to ever run them that fast. I also like that the fans swap easily - without tools - between forward and reverse blades. Also, the fans connect to each other magnetically, as well as the cables connecting magnetically. Now to the only minor installation issue. Some others have alluded to it also. If you do not get the magnetic cable connector aligned perfectly to the fan, the pogo pins on the fan don't connect to all the tiny disks on the cable, opposite each pin. My first install, the fans were Dead - no spinning or lights. So, I needed to "wiggle" the connector around to get it aligned. It took me about six tries on one fan, to get the alignment correct, because the magnets are so strong they tend to pull the parts together quicker than the alignment can occur. This is NOT a reason to avoid these fans, I see the strong magnets as a good thing because once you get the alignment correct it isn't going to move. I also had the same mis-alignment with the magnets coupling the 3rd fan to the 2nd, until I simply "wiggled" them to align perfectly. THERMALTAKE should take note, and do a little redesign work so the magnetic connectors work more precisely, else they may get some complaints and returns, from unaware buyers, that the fans just don't work. Bottom line is, I really like these fans and the are my new 1st choice for reverse blade fans. Highly recommended !!!

Great fans
Great fans for finishing out my build love the fact you have the choice of reverse or forward blades at your disposal your not locked in to where you can put these they are the most versatile fan I have used in 18 years I have been building pcs A bit steep on the price but you do get both sets of blades so you have to decide if this is what you want They are quiet at 50% never had them at a higher rpm due to using them in a water cooled rig I like the fact that they push enough volume of air it’s not a problem for me keeping my temps in check LEDs are nice and bright light up my system beautifully

Best premium RGB fans with some quirks
These fans are incredible. From the magnetic connecting system to the reversable fan blades and the RGBs everything is done very well. They aren't only beautiful they are also very functional and keep everything in my pc nice and cool. The quick connect system is awesome and with a total of 11 fans in my pc I only used 5 cables which is insane. It makes cable management a breeze and makes everything look super clean. These are also 140mm fans so they are super efficient and the noise level is low even under load which is great. The RGB lighting is incredible on these. Super bright and vibrant, and have a crazy amount of actual LEDs. Also since these are 140mm fans they are super quite and efficient so the noise level is low even under load which is great. Besides the magnetic quick connect system the coolest part of these fans are the reversable blades. I had the Riing fans before these and I was so disappointed that I had to flip them around and hide the ring lighting so I could get my airflow to work. These fix that issue in the best way. They INCLUDE reversable fan blades (which is great to see) that allow you to keep the fans all facing up right and still change the direction of the airflow. You now don't have to sacrifice performance for looks you get both with these fans and it also makes them super easy to clean. All you have to do is pop them in and out. Second best feature right behind the magnetic quick connect system. One note I have on the quick connect that I saw someone else mention and now that I have them I totally agree is that I wish the dimples to line up the connectors were just a little deeper so that they seated more securely. Right now you have to jiggle the fans after you plug them in if they didn't seat correctly and they do work it would just be nice to see a more secure quick connect system. Last thing I will mention is to only get the ARGB version of these fans if you don't plan on doing individual LED customization as your motherboard software doesn't give you that level of control. Otherwise they work great! Overall these fans are awesome and totally worth the money if you are in the market for a premium fan it doesn't get much better then this! I hope this helped you make an informed purchasing decision. Thanks for reading!

Nice fans.
These were kind of pricey, but I love the fact that they daisy chain without a separate cable to each fan. I have 9 fans in my case and only 4 cables attached to my motherboard. No splitters and no extra cables. I have had them for 8 or 9 months and they run almost constantly. The LEDs work well with the ASUS native controls and they are very quiet most of the time. When they all spin up (usually only in the summer) it gets a bit noisy, but better than some I've heard. They were super easy to install, but be sure that you have them aligned properly. The magnets can sometimes connect without connecting the electrical components. Finally, they are fans, and they move air as they should.

Love these fans!
The fans are not that loud, I don’t notice them when gaming. Not really great value unless you can get them on sale. I got lucky with a pair that were used-like new. Functionality is great because you can swap out the blades to make the fan intake or exhaust, which may explain the price level. They look amazing though, well worth it if you want all your fans to look the same and be able to change the direction of air flow. If Thermaltake can make a magnetic connector that doesn’t require multiple disconnects and reconnects to get the fans working that would be great. Pretty sure these were retuned because the previous person had trouble with the connector. After making may small tiny adjustments I finally got the fans and the lights working together. I can never move the connector again now. Overall I would recommend them.

Very nice fans but if you’re using the reverse blades they aren’t going to work. I bought 9 fans and every single reverse blade would not spin. Compare both blades that it comes with and you’ll notice the metal thing that goes into the bearing is shorter on the reverse blades causing the body of the blade to rub against the LED lights of the fan body once you’ve attached it. Hopefully someone from thermaltake sees this review and looks into it.

Great fans, but the installation is unnecessarily difficult
These are probably the hardest PC fans I have ever had to install. The magnetic connector is not only quite bulky, but also extremely difficult to align properly. It comes loose with very little movement, and the magnet seems to attach itself to almost every metal part inside the case except the connector on the fan where it is actually supposed to connect. You can't connect the cable to the fan first and then install the fan in the case because the connector moves around and disconnects while you're mounting the fan. On the other hand, if you install the fan first, you often don't have enough room to connect the cable afterward, and the magnetic connector will try to stick to everything around it instead of the connector. Once you finally manage to get everything installed, the fans look great and work very well. However, you have to be careful not to move the case too much because the magnetic connectors can disconnect again. Overall, I like the fans themselves, but the connector system makes the installation much more frustrating than it needs to be. The fans would easily be 5 stars for appearance and performance, but the connector design brings the overall experience down to about 3 stars for me.

Perfect ARGB fan with reverse-flow blades
TL;DR: Quiet, ARGB, cable-free daisy-chaining, magnetic, swappable reverse-flow blades. What more could you want? Usually I'll go for Noctua fans when I want silence and performance, but for this build I also wanted something that would look great and light up nicely inside a case with glass panels. After lots of searching I discovered these... and they are everything that I hoped they would be! Six of these Thermaltake SWAFANs (ARGB variant) provide silent air intake through the mesh-filtered side and bottom of my case and allow individual LED control for full case effects with open-source OpenRGB software. Construction: The fan base, blades, wires, connections, and packaging all feel premium. Comes with extra grease, should you need it down the road. The LEDs are nice and bright and the fan blades do a decent job of diffusing the light. Reverse-flow blades: These fans come with reverse-flow blades that can be easily swapped in, so the fan can be mounted with preferred air-flow orientation without being obscured by fan structure. Magnetic: Fan edges have magnets that help join the fans together for install. The cable that you connect to the fan also attaches magnetically. Cordless daisy-chaining: Fans have daisy-chain pin/pad connections, so each set of 3 fans side-by-side only need a single cable that Y splits for 4-pin PWM/Power and ARGB. Plenty of reach on each end of the Y cable to reach your motherboard's fan header and an ARGB controller and less wire mess in your case. Silent (typically): At idle and typical workloads, the fans run silently at lower RPM. During heavier workloads or gaming, my system profile has the fans raise in RPM to a barely audible level. Only when really pushing the system do the fans increase to noticeably audible levels when moving lots of air. ARGB Control: The LEDs on these fans are controllable via ARGB, which means you can use your motherboard's ARGB control or a 3rd party ARGB controller to control each LED individually on the fans, even when daisy chained, without having to use extra vendor-specific controllers or software! I control these ARGB fans and other case LEDs with the "Razer Chroma Addressable RGB Controller." I use OpenRGB to drive this controller, along with my DIMMs and graphics card. OpenRGB allows me to map all of these LEDs to their physical space to run interesting full-chassis effects. See video for demo. Cost: IMO, these fans are very affordable compared to alternative solutions when shopping. Especially considering that they are ARGB compatible, you can use a single controller for multiple ARGB peripherals. I could not find an alternative that checked all of these boxes. Tip: Avoid over-tightening fan mounting screws, or they may not power-on correctly. Thank you Thermaltake for making an excellent fan with reversible blades and ARGB connectivity!

new favourites
these are my new favourite fans the argbs are bright and function like they should, the air flow with these fans is perfect they are silent enough that you wont notice them, unless you have them full blast but even then they arent that loud at all. the reversable blades is a nice touch and the included fan oil is handy as well if you need it. you also get long rad screws as well as small ones for all three of the fans. plus 3 separate cables if you dont have them synced together

Super produit
Pas besoin de courir acheter d’autres ventilos pour changer le flux d’air de son PC. Chaînage facile (à noter : un câble par ventilos si on veut les séparer) à 2000tr/mn il souffle très fort (dans les 2 sens) magnifique ARGB

Amazing. Great.
Reversible. Easy to control ARGB. Works well. Silent. Faint hum at certain speeds though, can only decide if you can live with it after installing. Looks beautiful.
