The wheelchair is just right. Very lightweight, easy to manage. Perfect for travelling in the ambulance for hospital appointments.

Nice chair
Seems to be well made ,not too heavy to push the wife likes it.

It is light weight, a one hand lift, fits easily into a car boot, (trunk). reasonable price.
Could do with a shopping bag accessory, Taking the user shopping, supermarket, difficult when need both hands to push the chair. have made a bar & hooks across the handles, (but important to keep within the centre of gravity of the chair and occupant).

Excellent light wheelchair
Solid and steady yet light and very easy to set up and dismantle. High quality finish. Comfortable to sit it. Extra brakes (bicycle style on handles) are a great idea. Couldn't be happier. Great price too.

robust and comfortable but at around 16
My disabled wife was provided with a Lomax 17" self propelled wheelchair by the NHS. It is stable, robust and comfortable but at around 16.5kg quite an effort for me to lift. The Swift chair, obtained two months ago, weighs 11.5kg & is much easier to handle but the trade off is a tendency to slip when braked on smooth surfaces before the occupant is seated. The handle brakes are a bonus though a little tricky to lock one handed. It is excellent for travel and slim enough to enter an aircraft aisle. It is not fitted with a safety belt. The foot plates are height adjustable by releasing an hexagonal headed screw with a supplied Allen key. On one side this proved impossible and I could only extract the screw with a pair of heavy duty pliers. The discount to the high street price was irresistible and even more so after recovering the VAT by contacting Amazon. Given that a wheelchair is to assist a disabled person it is surprising there is no option to purchase without VAT.

Ideal fo an older person
I havn't seen the chair as its my uncles whose in a care home so I can't visit him. Spoke to a carer she sais its great and he loves it

Very light and compact
Even better than advertised & illustrated because it DOES have he straps. You do need to buy a fitted cushion for comfort, especially after a while sitting in it.
