Great product for getting more protein into your diet
Good product to add to my smoothies on days where I need more protein. No over powering flavor, I love the ingredients, mixes well with other ingredients, excellent for making protein bars, well priced.

Effective and Affordable
Let's get this out of the way: the taste is nothing great. However, I think if you buy an unflavored pea protein powder, taste is probably not important. It's just neutral, not good or bad. It mixes easily, and you get a lot for the price. For me calorie count per gram of protein is important, and this is the lowest calorie per serving, plant-based protein I've been able to find. And 5 lbs lasts for quite a while, even at 2 servings or more a day. I've been using it for about 6 months, and my strength and size continue to improve in the gym. I will continue to use this protein unless they drastically increase the price.

Very helpful in meeting my protein goal
I like that it is mild tasting, easy on my stomach, and has no additives. I highly recommend it if you are looking to supplement your protein intake. I started on an all plant diet (mostly whole foods) and was having trouble eating the volume of food needed to meet my protein goal. This has been a great way to meet my target. Now that I've been on the plant based diet for a month my gut has adapted better and I'm hoping to no longer need this powder as a supplement. It's been a great bridge for me and will buy it again if I have trouble getting enough protein from whole foods in the future.

This stuff is the REAL deal...
This stuff is the real deal. With weight training as a vegan, I've put on 12-15 pounds of lean muscle so far in the few months since I've started working out, which has shocked me as I was very skeptical. But considering I eat 90% fruit and this is the only supplement I use, I think it deserves a lot of the credit. Only 4 stars because they still haven't found a way to process this stuff in the USA, or at least somewhere better than China. But I appreciate the extremes they've gone to get North American non-gmo grown peas and to use a process free of chemicals (many similar supplements can be "hexane processed" which is cheaper but essentially uses gasoline, yuck) and I get that it's probably not nearly as easy to process this in the USA without drastically raising the cost. If they can find a processor in North America, it will easily be 5 stars for me. Mixes perfectly for me. I throw some berries and a banana and some ice in the blender along with a few scoops of this and viola. I was also surprised to see no bloating past the first couple of days of adjustment. It's very easy on my system, unlike the animal protein powders I've taken that are pretty merciless on my digestive tract. As far as taste goes, it tastes more than good enough and there's no silt left in the bottom of the glass or anything. The powder by itself tastes a bit like stale biscuits to me at its worst. I wouldn't eat it by itself, but if I had to I easily could. Seriously though, it's one of the most mild powders I've used and if you think this tastes bad, I honestly don't know what to tell you except that it's a protein powder, not a milk shake. You either decide to be a grown man (or woman) and take this (or any other less-than-delicious supplement) because you care enough about your health/fitness goals, or you don't. I hope NAKED doesn't cave to the people who want this to taste like all the other sugar, hormone and chemical filled junk protein powders out there. This is 100% pea protein, and it's the real deal if you want to see those hard-earned results.

Healthy and well balanced smoothies
The reviews are right about the chalky taste, but if you have a really good blender (I have a RAW) it can definitely reduce that issue quite a bit. I work out four times a week and only drink protein in the morning within my smoothie after fasting on workout days. My smoothie is usually full of fruit so it’s nice to add a plant-based protein with no other additives that I have to worry about. The best combo that I have come up with this one is 3 to 4 bananas 1 to 2 cups of milk, and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. Add ice and water to your liking and boom, all of a sudden it’s actually pretty yummy. Another decent combo is doing a cup of blueberries, three bananas, a cup of passionfruit, one cup of milk, and add ice and water to your liking. This one is not as good unless it is placed in the refrigerator for a little while first. If you do this combo in the mornings, allow it to be your only meal that breaks your fast given the amount of calories and protein. It is very fulfilling. You likely won’t even want anything else.

My new favorite protein powder
Personally I prefer pea protein over whey. There is almost no taste to it. Paired with peanut butter powder makes a for nice healthy protein shake. Naked pea dissolves somewhat decently. Because one serving size is two big scoops, it can be a little grainy at times but for me its tolerable. Compared to whey, naked pea doesn't have that awful odor or taste that makes me want to vomit. It also doesn't cause me an upset stomach and it doesn't seem to cause terrible breakouts on my skin so thats a huge plus! Overall I highly recommend this product.

Great product great price horrible taste
Love the company and ingredients are quality but its gritty and tastes like straight up weiner water. Awful taste. Good thing is it will kill any hunger if you drink it.

Amazing protein source for recipes and meals
I’ve always used vanilla or chocolate whey protein for making shakes. However I was on the search for something to cook with since whey didn’t seem to work in recipes. I heard casesin protein was better for baking but I came across this instead. I got the flavorless one and it’s been amazing being used to sneak into meals like pasta sauce. No weird or gritty texture, the flavor of the meal covers majority of the taste also. I’ve also baked protein bagels and pizza with this using flour, Greek yogurt, the powder and baking soda. All have been perfect

Excellent non dairy protein powder, easier on my stomach
I originally checked this out because whey protein was giving me bloating and a lot of mucus, and honestly this has been the best non-dairy protein source I’ve tried for the price. The nutrition is great, the ingredients are simple, and it works perfectly in smoothies. A lot of people complain about the taste, but I honestly think those people are expecting it to taste sweet like whey protein. This is unflavoured pea protein, so of course it has more of an earthy/neutral taste. I mix it into smoothies with spinach, bananas, peanut butter, or almond milk and I barely notice it. If you already make green smoothies or protein shakes, the flavour really isn’t a problem at all. What I like most is how easy it is on digestion. Whey always made me feel bloated, but this one sits way better in my stomach and doesn’t give me any issues after workouts. It’s also convenient because you can throw it into shakes, oatmeal, or recipes for extra protein without adding a bunch of artificial ingredients or sweetness. Mixing is best in a blender or smoothie. I probably wouldn’t drink it plain with water because it is a little chalky on its own, but blended with other ingredients it tastes completely fine. One small thing: the scoop sizing is a bit redundant since the serving says 2 scoops. I usually just do one large scoop because it ends up being about the same amount anyway. Overall, if you want a clean, affordable, non-whey protein powder that’s easy on the stomach and great for smoothies, I highly recommend this. Hope this helps.

Bought UNFLAVORED: Can't get past the chalkiness
Absolutely horrible taste. Tasting it on its own, it's a little salty / savory. It also has a somewhat pasty texture out of the container. When mixed in liquid, the chalky taste never goes away. You can add all kinds of flavors to mask the taste, but the chalkiness never goes away. Had 2 servings...sadly, ready to throw it out.
