A little tight
I was very excited to get these shoes. I purchased my regular size. They were too tight throughout the foot. I have Sperry's that fit well. I am sure these would stretch but I wasn't going to take the chance for the high price.

Like the classic LL Bean Blucher of the 1980s
I was a huge fan of the LL Bean Blucher Moc back in the '80s and early '90s, and was devastated when I once ordered a pair and found they had cheapened the materials and changed the design. The new Bean shoe looked more like a women's shoe than men's, it had inferior leather compared to the old, and I didn't want the cushioned insole that they added. So, for years, I looked for something that was close to the original LL Bean Blucher, and now I finally found it in this Eastland. The style of the shoe is spot on the old Bean Blucher...and it has the look of a men's style. I like the basic rubber sole, and while while it does have a bit of a cushioned insole, it's not overdone like Bean. I still would prefer the old plain leather insole. The people who have responded to questions saying the sole is glued and not stitched are just flat out wrong. The stitching is not molded in and it is clearly made of some kind of cordage. The tanning process on the leather is not as good as was used 30 odd years ago, but the color is good. The only negative I really have about these shoes is that they do seem to run a bit narrow. I have narrow feet and these are snug down the sides, but I assume they will break in over time. I'm afraid that if I went a half size larger, they may be too long in the toe. Other than that, I am really thrilled with these shoes, and the $60 price doesn't hurt either. That's nearly what they cost years ago.

My father loves them!
My father said they fit just right, comfortable and true to the width size.

Where is that Hoodoo Guru album...
Let me start by saying that back in the day I was more of a Sebago guy but it is impossible to find Campsides anymore. Found these for $60, took a chance and I am glad I did. I am at the age where I feel adult men look silly wearing athletic shoes for non athletic events and I get tired of wearing boots and loafers all the time. I wanted a classic goof around shoe so I got in the way back machine and ordered these.Shoes are great. Fit perfect and feel solid. I did my favorite trick with leather and sprayed them down with Murphy Oil Soap and massaged them for a few minutes. Slipped them on, pulled laces TIGHT, and then walked around the house for a few minutes. The leather is good so they will stretch and mold around my foot soon. All the bad reviews are beyond me. I feel like the value is great for the price.

These are solid camp mocs and they look great! For $50 or so dollars
These are solid camp mocs and they look great! For $50 or so dollars, you can't go wrong but don't expect to pass them on to your kids someday. They’re made in China and I get about two years out of them, primarily wearing them in the summer. Rancourt, Quoddy, etc. all make better versions of this shoe that are made in the U.S. but you’ll be spending closer to $200-$300. I do wear them with no-show ankle socks and that helps prolong the life. I also highly recommend ripping out the insoles (they’re just glued in) and replacing them if you’ll be on your feet all day or will be walking a lot. I replaced the insoles with “Dr. Scholl’s Athic Series Running Insoles for Men – size small” for this camp moc in a size 10 and that combination is working out great. I wore them on a trip to Chicago and walked 5-10 miles a day with no issues.

These Eastland shoes run VERY narrow
These Eastland shoes seem to run very, very narrow compared to Bass and Sperry boat shoes I've purchased for years. But they seem very well made with high-quality materials, really nice leather and they look great. I'm reordering in wide and hoping it fits.

Classic old school moc
Beautiful as ever, only gave it 4 stars cause eastland stooped too low making their stuff in china but they are for the most part very well made and comfortable and no one in the streets is asking to see the inside of your shoes to see where they are made, i have owned 2 pairs of the made in usa ( maine) styles and yes the materials used are of higher quality but who cares these look awesome, i also ordered these in the chukka version same color for the fall and spring/ winter, the mocs i will use for warm fall, summer of course and spring and even though they are the same color its 2 totally different looks, i have the old school original rust color with the black sole
