I bought the mantix and the vybod, but was sent the scarrax instead of vybod which is cheaper than what I paid. Other than being owed the difference in the two versions of bots, these things are quite awesome! My 7 yr old son and I battle and race them with each other and have a blast. They seem sturdy and charge quickly. I didn't know how to put together at first, then realized step by step directions are on the app.

My grandson kept wanting to borrow my phone to play with the robot. The time I leet him, he threw the phone across the room in frustration. I finally showed him how to load the app to his tablet. Now he loves the robots, particularly now that he can compete against his mother or me. He especially loves the scorpion. He will be five soon. I have built three Kamigami and tend to use the Vypod. He and his mother together built a praying mantis and often play together, mantis against scorpion.

Fantastic toy for 3rd-5th graders... super durable and I love that it is two toys in one (assembly first and then operation)... we will be collecting more of these!!

This was a birthday gift for my 12 year old nephew. He loved it. He easily built it right in front of me and within an hour was playing with it. Loved that it was controlled by his iPhone. Very cool gift.
