This workes good on pipe threads as a leak preventive.

I'm not a pro so it's worth having an extra insurance against leaks

It turns into a harder paste when dried that really seals better than anything else I’ve used

I used this product while in the Coast Guard. I now use it around the farm.

Been using this stuff for 35 plus years . Excellent product , in HVAC business its known as the Blue Death. Leaking gases and liquids respond well to it. Works well in Vacuum situations as well. This tube appeared to have a date code of May of 2020. The product was a bust it had “split “ and came out of the tube in a brown color ,it should have been a purple lavender blue color. Since it is not a liquid and more of a paste its nearly impossible to shake. Never had it split before this tube. Disappointing , i usually get it at the HVAC supply house never had this trouble before. Needed it for a Vacuum situation, it did not hold a vacuum . Sometimes it’s true when you hear “they don’t make stuff like they use to” .

I use to use this at work. Now retired I still it to seal threads on my compressor fittings & as a thread lock. For modeling, this is very good & is easy enough to break loose. Thread lock isn't used enough with me, have had it dry up in it's bottle.Beware; Amazon driver sucks! Never rings the bell when delivery is made.
