Well made.
I love the quality right out of the box. No overwhelming chemical smell. Sturdy and comfortable. Fabric feels thick and the bottom cusion is sturdy. Theres no sagging or collapse when either one of my cats use it. It is a bit snug for my medium size cats but let's face it they are cats it's what they live for. When either cat uses it they can still turn around in it freely and lay down. The waist cusion makes a huge difference on my back. Can wear it in the front but really bulky for my small frame and slightly reduces the space for the cat. Don't hate it just not ideal for being able to use my arms. Great for walks and the cats love sleeping and playing in and out of it. Only one medium size cat fits at a time to be clear.

Robust, cat likes it better than the hard carrier, great on airplanes
I was looking for a soft carrier that I could bring on an airplane with my cat (who is about 8 lbs, about 14 in long, and 10 in tall from her feet to her back standing up). I would say this product fit the bill. It fit under the seat on my Frontier flight (something I was concerned about), even though the height of the bag on its side is 11 in and the Frontier guidelines say 8 in max. The bag did not have to deform to fit under the seat. It feels like it is made of suitcase material, so it is stiff (will stand up on its own), but can squish down and deform if need be.Here are some qualities that I really like about the bag:- It is robust. The fabric is thick, and even though my cat claws at the mesh to get out, the mesh has yet to tear (I used it on an airplane twice for 4 hours each way, and once a week for about 20 mins. Have had it for 2 months so far). Though the bag is soft it holds its shape (kind of like a soft suitcase).-It is fairly big, so my cat has room to stand and turn around.-There are multiple entrance points, so depending on what your pet prefers, they can get in different ways. I usually just use the top entrance.-My cat prefers this to the hard carrier. It is a bit more spacious and wide, and of course soft.-There are a lot of mesh windows for the pet to look out. In the airport, I covered the bag with a jacket to reduce the amount of stimulation my cat was receiving, but otherwise this is a nice feature.-The top pocket converts into a little clear window that your pet can stand up in and look out.Things that could be improved:-To make the bag fold up, the bottom is removable. When the bag is on its side, this bottom support falls over. I sewed velcro to it so that it would stay in place, and this solution has worked well for me.This bag has worked super well for me and my cat will hang out in it even if we're not going anywhere. It has a short leash built in that could be nice for hiking (to keep the pet from jumping out), but I've never used it. It might be difficult to clean if your pet makes a big mess in it; I don't think it would be washer machine friendly. You would have to spot clean it. Overall, 10/10 would recommend.

Does the trick, this was the best pick of a half dozen packs we ordered.
The media could not be loaded. The bag is sturdy enough- although the straps are a little tough to get on and off and I’m not sure why. We have plenty of backpacks for various sports and none have this trouble. The safety leash is quite long IMO- the cat has had several instances where she jumps and dangles by her harness until I can get the straps off my shoulders and the pack off.The pop up window great but there are a few features I would improve.1- a bigger pocket- there is pretty much no place for anything except a small treat or a leash. If you want to go hiking (which is why I bought it) you need a 2nd person to carry EVERYTHING.2- a simple velcro strap to roll the top flap back and hold it into place while it’s open (I ordered several cat backpacks and a couple had this feature).3- improved shoulder straps and hip belt. The shoulder straps only adjust from the bottom and the hip belt is hardly more than a piece of webbing. Because it doesn’t adjust that much my husband cannot even get this backpack on. Unfortunately this was the best pick of a half dozen packs we ordered. There is still much to be desired but it gets the job done.

Sturdy construction and strong mesh with large air vents.
This backpack is light yet has strong construction with exo-skeleton seams. The ample side opening flap (zippered), in addition to the top opening make it easier to bring in resistant kitties and the like. I used the large side flap for a rescue cat today and it was great to be able to scruff and gently drop in. The mesh is made out of a thicker plastic material and the generous area of mesh allows for air circulation. This is intended for transport and not for long periods inside. There are two straps (top chest and waist) that make it even more stable while walking. Shoulder straps are thick and comfortable. The backpack also includes a removable faux lamb thin padded cushion for bottom. It's obvious the designers did their research or are have animals of their own. It is a well thought out design... from quality of material to construction and functionality. Really great, even my vet was impressed. So glad I took the time to look around and landed on this one. Loving it all!

Perfect for traveling with pet!
I loved this. It was nice for getting our cat too and from the car. It has vents so they can see or be seen. I really liked that you could close them though. When our cats got overwhelmed or overstimulated, we could cover the vents and block out the light. They would go straight to sleep. It will definitely only fit one full size cat. The padding made it so comfortable and the clip kept the carrier from slipping while we hiked. I was able to hold our cat during the hike for over an hour without any discomfort or it feeling heavy!

sturdy and comfortable!! love it!!
my cat loves it! sometimes she’ll choose to sleep in it for the night too lol. she’s a pretty big cat, really long and fluffy. so, she has some weight to her and i can still hold her just fine! i’ve had it for about a month now and it’s still the same shape as when i got it. doesn’t droop at all! i did the most research i could to find the best and most affordable one and i think this is it!! definitely recommend!

Quality
Nice and rigid pet carrier backpack. Might be small if your dog is over 15 pounds.

Great Backpack
Arrived 4 days after ordering exactly as described. Solid structure with lots of ventilation and fit our medium sized cat well and gave her room to move around inside. Window stayed popped up nicely and backpack is relatively comfortable to wear.

Comfortable for owner and cat
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my Maine Coon cat, for when we travel. She seems to like it and I find it fairly comfortable. I like the fact that she's tethered so can't escape as I like to walk her with the top open, for ventilation (She has a heavy coat and it's the middle of a very hot summer here). However, when I got home today I discovered she had twisted the tether around her neck. Not sure what could be done to prevent this? Also I've attached Velcro dots to keep the top back out of the way when it is open, otherwise it keeps falling back over her.

My cat loves it!
Very well made and comfortable to wear on back, not so much on the front. I would like to have been able to wear on the front. Highly recommend.

Good value for the price
I was worried that this would end up being really flimsy since it was the lowest price one when I searched, but it is really pretty solid and somewhat large, a really large cat would probably not be comfortable in this but a small to medium cat is okay for trips to the vet or something but definitely not large enough for any cat to want to be in it 24/7.
