Hella 9005 100W High Wattage Bulb, 12V

These lights are incredibly bright, much brighter than I was expecting. I installed in my 2005 Buick Century, which has quad beam system, so I had to order 4 bulbs, I also installed the recommended upgraded wiring harnesses and sockets (which are simple plug and play). I have tried Silverstars and Phillips Xtreme Power and neither were as bright as the Hella's. Not certain where ahmadr purchased his lights, but all four of mine say made in Germany and fit perfectly. Have only had for a month, but so far no discoloration at all to the headlight lens. I strongly recommend these, plus they are much cheaper than any of the other performance bulbs. Since installed, I have not had one person flash me, as if my lights were on bright. But a lot of this has to do with how your lights are aimed. Make sure your lights are not aimed to high.

Far brighter than 65watt oem, and far brighter than the stupid blue coated bulbs. I took a light meter and the factory brights were 95 ft/cd, the 100 watt blue coated bulbs were 120 ft/cd, and the Hella 100 watt bulbs measured 320 ft/cd (all measured at brightest point, at the same distance). I would recomend changing 1 bulb and then shining them on a white wall or garage door to appreciate the differance, before you change both bulbs.

These are very bright I am glad I purchased these. My brights light up everything. The field of view is the best my truck has had and I removed a set of much more expensive bulbs from the truck to install these.

This Hella 100W lamp is a decent and cheap upgrade to the standard 55W high beam lamp. I have installed them in our Toyota Landruiser and Lexus SC300. The difference in light output is not dramatic but is easily enough to justify the cost of the bulbs. I found no change in the light pattern for either vehicle. They are worth the money.

If you have regular 60 or 65 Watt bulbs in your vehicle I highly recommend upping the power to these 100 watters. They throw the light way farther than the standard bulbs and it's a touch whiter too. I had the blue tinted "Xenon Quality" ones in my truck and never liked them, these bulbs are so much better! No regrets for buying these especially for less than $6.00 each!

I placed an order for 2 of the 100 watt off-road version of this bulb but I received the standard 65 watt bulb which is less expensive and not as bright as the bulbs that I paid for. Unfortunately I did not notice this until after I installed the bulbs in the vehicle so now i am stuck.

I'm using these for my low beams and high beams. I have them connected together when I switch to high beams. So 400 watts on high beam setting. Had them since may 2018 and they're still working fine. Also, for 7$ a bulb you can't go wrong. Will update if they burnt out quickly though.
