I really wanted to like this water. I love carbonated water, and often add lemon juice to it. I use real lemons, as well as organic, Italian lemon juice without preservatives. I use a sodastream with filtered water. This water tastes nothing like lemon. It tastes like lemon cleaning solutions smell. I tried it cold, and I tried it mixed with vodka. I’ll power through one mixed drink, but I don’t think I could ever consume this again. I definitely could not pay for this water. I don’t think I’m being picky, but I definitely did not expect this from seeing the price point.

Usually I'm not a big fan of sparkling water because it has a weird taste to me, but not so with this one, I was impressed with the taste and it has changed my mind about sparkling water. So out of the box I received twelve 11 ounce bottles of the limon essence sparkling water, glass bottles with easy to open twist off caps. The ingredients on the bottle is mineral water with natural flavor, so nothing added to it and zero sodium and sugar, so these are all great positives for me. As far as the taste, it has a mild lemon lime flavor, evenly distributed, lightly carbonated with a light seltzer feel, definitely does not feel heavy when you drink it, so I can definitely recommend this if you are looking for a tasty sparkling water.

I've learned that seltzer water has an acquired taste, and personally find this brand to be of very high quality. It is apparent from the first taste that it is made using pristine water, and upon reading that it is made from Canadian spring water, it all came together. The lemon flavor is very good, it has just enough presence to be satisfying and the balance with the carbonation is perfect in my opinion. One thing anyone who drinks this water will take notice of is that as with the seltzer itself, the bottles are about as premium as one can get.. The design is beautiful and complements it perfectly. There is a possibly hidden message near the serial number on the bottles, "Man be Good" and it is as refreshing and satisfying as the seltzer, which is easily recommended.

When it comes to taste, each person has their own personal preferences. But for me, I really enjoyed this. I do not like heavily carbonated drinks, and I found this was lightly carbonated- enough that you know it is there and refreshes you, but not so much that it bloats. The flavor is very, very subtle. It is not overpowering in its lemon and lime flavor. I like that the water is pure and there are no artificial flavors or any chemicals in it. A very clean product that tastes clean and refreshing. The only reason I took off one star is the price. For me (maybe not for everyone) the price is steep for about 1/3 liter. I will give the manufacturer credit, though, for its superb case packaging, which prevented any damage during shipping.

I really like sparling water, so I was eager to try Clearly Canadian Clearly Sparkling Limon Essence Flavored Sparkling Mineral Water. I love that it is non-GMO and made from two simple ingredients: pure mineral water from beautiful Canada and natural citrus flavoring. It doesn't even have sodium! This sparkling mineral water is very good. It is smooth and fresh with no bite. The lemon-lime flavor is subtle and not over-whelming. In short, it is very refreshing. This is my new favorite drink.
