Good value
Easy to install app. No worries about battery life or battery not charging due to long storage because there is no battery. It plugs into your phone for power. As soon as you plug it in it is recognized and the app opens, ready for use. Using the safety collar and not having an permanently attached spoon makes this a safe and useful product.

Physician here. Impressed with the quality for the price!
Happily surprised with how good this product is! My wife and I are both physicians and are very impressed with the ease of use and image quality. We have used official medical grade (Welch Allen) USB otoscopes in our clinics that honestly are no better than this. My wife works in a family medicine clinic and will likely be buying some of these to keep around. The video record function is great. We can take a video as we look in our kids’ ears and then scroll through the video to look at the ears closer.

Nice Diagnostic Ear Endoscope with Removable Specula
So far a nice little ear camera for the price.Pros: Nice included set of specula so you can use it on multiple people. I wish there was a way to order more specula.Cons: The included plastic "spoons" were pretty sketchy to use. But this is true of pretty much every ear endoscope. The depth perception is not great. So you could easily injure your ear canal or eardrum with the spoon. It doesn't seem to work as a USB camera with other iOS apps, so you have to use their app.The included app (Xscope) has some limitations. It doesn't have any way to control the brightness of the lights. There is no brightness or contrast control for the camera either. So there can be glare on the TM and skin at certain angles. The app does have a horizontal flip button to help make navigating the scope a little easier on your left ear. But it takes some getting used to.Overall a nice diagnostic tool. Just don't try taking wax out with it.

Not reliable!
I’ve had constant ear infections, so was excited to use this product to get an idea of what was going on in my ear. It worked great for one month and has now failed to display an image. I have troubleshooted with no success. There is no way to contact the seller/company which is so frustrating. Very disappointed with this product. Try a different brand!

Clear bright image and easy/fast setup!
I have worn hearing aids for over 25 years. Earwax is the #1 reason for hearing aid issues/problems. Keeping ear canals clean and wax free is a priority for any hearing aid user.I've always done a monthly cleaning using wax removal drops, but, never really went to the point of using an Otoscope to see how I did.The Anykit comes ready to plug in;... its chip has the app link, so when you plug it into your iPad/iPhone, it will immediately bring up the app needed and ask you to install it. So Easy! (I assume Android device setup will be similar). In using it, I found the images clear and well lit. Its as good as the one I've seen my Audiologist use! That said, my first ear inspection following what I thought was a thorough cleaning confirmed that I had to do better than that!I changed my technique to waiting 20 minutes or more for the drops to loosen up really old and embedded wax, plus, flushing out my ears multiple times with very warm water to completely flush out this debris. In summary, I should have purchased this or other similar Digital Otoscope a long time ago. Lesson learned.Don't buy the least expensive Dig Otoscope you can get. If the image is lower resolution, image is soft, not well lit, you won't happy with it nor be keeping it.For just under $30, for the easy setup, the great optical quality, plus the cleaning accessories and extra tips you get in this kit, I suggest not looking much further for one. This is a keeper for me for sure. 5 Stars all around!

love this
Got tired of asking everyone to look in my ears with a regular otoscope to see if there was a bulging drum... Yea, try to explain that to the average person....Yes, I am a Nurse.... Actually had to instruct a Dr on how to use an otoscope correctly when someone has weird canals... Lord help the general public...With this little scope I see see clearly and now I now my drums seem to bulge very frequently....Don't you just love an earache you can't get rid of.....Now to find time to see a ENT and tell her my findings....Go ahead and laugh, I know you want to...
