JENNY BIRD Mega U-Link Earrings

I am in love with this new-to-me brand.First of all, the earrings were presented beautifully. They were wrapped in felt and twine. The white-on-white palette of the gift packaging really made the gold of the jewelry pop when I opened the box. I tend to think that companies that put care into how their items are designed and produced also put care into how they are presented, so I love to see it done as thoughtfully and elegantly as this.The earrings themselves are striking. They are substantial in size, and while they do have a little bit of weight to them, they aren't as heavy as they look. They snap in place, so there are no backs to keep track of. And, if you are like me and your piercings are a little stretched out, this type of earring hook is very flattering. The look is bold and dramatic, and the quality of their construction and materials is easily apparent. If you like me have been in search of an updated take on the hoop, the search is over. :)

I’ve really liked self-closing earrings recently, so it’s nice to have a quality pair! JB’s website says they’re “primarily made using a base of brass or stainless steel. The materials are then plated or dipped in gold tone, gold, rhodium or silver,” which will hopefully mitigate tarnish or ear reactions. The only minor flaw I found with this pair is that one earring locks in more fully to the back than the other. Both are still secure, though, and I’m not worried about them falling out. I personally didn’t mind the weight of the earrings; I stopped noticing they were on after a few minutes of wearing them!

I loved them but after about 5 days one side would not close returned them were very expensive and after reading the reviews a lot of persons had the same issue so I did not replace them.

I loves these earings, they are very nice. They did feel heavy when I wore them I have sensitive ears.

I adore these earrings! I have the smaller version of these as well and wanted the look of the larger ones too. My biggest concern with these was the weight, but even though they aren't a lightweight earring I wore them to an event recently and didn't experience any discomfort even while dancing all night. They are solidly constructed, a great color, and have a gorgeous shine. I really love these and would recommend them so much.

These are the cutest earrings!!! They are packaged beautifully and ready to gift. Unfortunately, these are heavy and bother my ears.

I bought both the "mega" and the regular u link earrings to compare sizes. The first picture is the regular and the second is the mega. Other than a slight size variation, they are exactly the same.
