Lids are nice & tight -- TOO tight!
I'm a senior with arthritis, but I've asked younger friends to try these out and they have a tough time too. Perhaps after they get "broken in", the lids would loosen up, but I wanted containers I could use right away. I've given them away.

Better & Cheaper than Rubbermaid
These are great, airtight, reusable, washable, microwavable… To a point… If you microwave marinara or anything red in color, it will stay on any plastic, but these are high-quality and the price of them averages out to be a fraction of the price of Rubbermaid & similar. Plus, you don’t have any branding on them why they are used by businesses that package their products.Every household could benefit from these… Especially if you have kids, you can pack the smaller sizes in their lunches, etc. like I do and it keeps everything dry and fresh and is very durable. It takes a lot for them to come open unintentionally.

Recently purchased these after watching some organizing videos.These are great to have on hand to store left overs or portion food. Money saving idea so you know exactly what is in your fridge as well as reducing the use of one time use type items.I have used them multiple times and ran thru the dishwasher, they are high quality, do not stain or get brittle and crack!10 out of 10

Great little containers - use for raw food prep for my dog
The media could not be loaded. I picked these containers up and they are great for raw dog food prep. Once I prepare all the meals, I put it in the freezer and these containers hold up. I pull a couple of them out each morning for the next day so they will the in the fridge. The seal is very tight so you must be careful when removing the lid because I have already broken one. Overall it’s a great purchase for my needs.
