The book itself is pretty good, looks like new. But it has a little bit delay in the post. In general, it's a good one.

Western Governors University selected this as its primary textbook. It has more errors than most other certification guides. Some items I saw on the exam were not covered by this book. Other areas were lacking in explaining the "why" which might help to cement a concept in the learner's mind. The publisher's errata department is not as effective as I'd hope. If you are enrolled in the companion online course with its quiz questions/practice tests, be prepared for errors in 5-10% of that material.Don Poulton's book is a better choice for those studying for certification and I was also impressed with "Windows 7 Unleashed" but it is targeted more towards practical application rather than certification.

The overview was completely fallacious! It stated copy would be clean, but to my dismay it was fully completed and ultimately worthless to me. If you are going to sale a product I suggest being open and honest about the true condition of it. Think twice before purchasing anything from them!!

Not adequate for passing 70-680 alone. Glad I only rented it- full price is a rip off for what you get.

The Windows 7 Configuration Lab Manual is okay. Knowing what I know now, I probably would not have purchased it. The reason for my last statement is because I discovered while in the MOAC labs that it has a copy of the lab steps and instructions and they are different than what is in the book.
