Does the job
I am very excited to try this as I have a big vacant land that I haven't maintain for months. I am 5'1, the handle is just right for me. At first, I find the handle heavy. It is a good work out if you want one. It sure get the work done. I get the rhythm in the end of swinging it right and left. The blade is good. I just have to make sure to maintain it. Will be using it for those pesky weeds.

ease of use
looking for a weed control gadget that doesn't run on gas. this is perfect, especially for those big weeds that a regular weed wacker wont cut. A flash back to a simpler more efficient time.

Rather disappointed
The handle broke right where the bolts are the first time I used it on some weeds. The blade is sharp enough, but I couldn’t believe that the handle broke!! My neighbour fixed it by putting fiberglass over the entire section where the bolts go through the handle, so that has fixed it. The handle is also very short. I’m 5’9” and my back gets tired from bending over to whack the weeds at their base. My opinion is that it’s not worth the money.
