I decided to upgrade from basic continuous lighting with cheapo softboxes to something that could offer a little more punch, and I wasn't disappointed with this set.I was genuinely surprised by the build quality of everything - sturdy stands, reassuringly weighty lamps, robust umbrellas, flash triggers worked effectively (although you will need 3 x 2 AAA batteries for the receivers).I was able to get the white background I needed with this set up - however I did use a 120cm Octobox around one of the lamps as my key light rather than .It was a relatively easy set up. My only complaint is the umbrella hoods which come with zero instructions. The larger metal end of the spokes have to go into the side holes of the metal lamp ring, and putting one lamp hood can take a good 10 minutes, so if you need to travel with this set, leave enough time to set up (or do it before you go, and leave the lamp hoods up, which is what I did!).The bag it comes with is great and nicely padded, but you can't store the lights inside it; it's only big enough for the stands, cables, umbrella hoods and any other necessary small accessories. I store the lights in the boxes they came in with the foam padding.If you're setting up a studio, these are a really great option. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Bag too small, soft boxes smaller than advertised, No storage covers for flash🤬🤬🤬🤬 *by P***G on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 March 2019* On first inspection this kit looks great. However there are 3 major issues....1) no covers supplied to protect the very fragile flash tubes2) soft boxes provided are not 24 inches in diameter as advertired but just under 20 inches. PLUS they are SUPER awkward to put together!!.3) Bag provided is TOO small to fit provided kit in!! I am no where near novice level when it comes to these things and I appreciate that "You get what you pay for" BUT VERY disappointed!!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality lights *by C***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 December 2019* I have used these a few times now and they are great. Soft boxes are a bit of a pain you could never take them on location and attempt to put them up.
