Detailed explanations
This is laminated. The graphics are helpful for clinicians. It provides an in depth explanation of all the various stages of central nervous system regulation/dysregulation. The only downfall is that it isn’t great for teaching clients about the CNS because it has a message for clinicians at the bottom that could potentially make clients feel less safe sharing trauma because it could negatively effect therapist. Please see picture.

Autonomic nervous system
I have autonomic neuropathy disorder. My specialist does her tests every time I see her . She doesn’t have the time to fully explain this impact on my life. My new therapist has this chart and when I found it I questioned her knowledge and understanding of it. It’s her favorite visual aide. When I got mine because of lack of concentration due to brain surgeries couldn’t keep me up with the chart. My specialist loves it and I told my therapist she just earned 100 brownie points.

Ideal - makes complex information accessible at a glance
An excellent tool for both professionals and those living with an autonomic function disorder. The colour coding is a brilliant idea, categorising complex information so that a patient's condition can be read almost at a glance. Enables objective evaluation of symptoms and offers guidance on remedial action when necessary. Gives patients greater independence by building confidence in the management of their own symptoms.

Great visual aid
I often used this visual during therapy as a community occupational therapist working with clients with anxiety disorders and PTSD. This visual is easy to understand and transport from client to client.

Es gibt Traumatherapien, you know?
