Great body pack
This body pack is awesome. The signal is strong for over 150 without being line of sight. This is a second one add to the PTU-2U-1H1B. Easy to link to the receiver and built like a tank. I love that the antenna is detachable.

Phenyx Pro all the way
Phenyx Pro True Diversity 2U bodypack is one of the highest quality built. I had to get the second 2U bodypack for my youth chapel. I'm totally Phenyx Pro True Diversity all my church wireless microphones system.

Gets it done.
Gets it done. Occasional slight high frequency buzzing or static. Shure BLX has less interference in my area.

Works sometimes and has no range
When it works, it works fine, sound is clear and there seems to be no issues, however, this unit and 2 of the handheld mics will not transmit very far, I have very bad intermittent range issues even when using the paddle antenna distribution system PAS-225X. I have 3 handheld mics and 1 of these body pack transmitters and only 1 handheld mic seems to work and a considerable distance. The rest all have issues even when less than 100 feet away. I am hoping they will help me replace these mics but they are past the warrant period already to return to Amazon. Also, unrelated but the receivers sometimes will not sync up when setting the channels for the transmitters, usually it will show that its transmitting but other times it just flashes IR on the screen for a split second and never sets the channels on the transmitters.

Faulty switch
I would give fewer stars if this unit weren’t so inexpensive, and if it were made of plastic. That still doesn’t help my frustration with my switch. Unlike pro-level body packs, there are absolutely no controls for any parameters on this body pack. The ONLY two functions it has are on/off and mute. Unfortunately, the switch that controls both these functions is failing on my body pack. That’s right, the ONLY thing that needs to actually do anything is failing. I discovered this after warranty of course, so I’m out another $80 to get a new one. That’s less than a repair would probably cost for a Sennheiser or Shure unit, but this is just for a talkback system for soundchecks so it is an aggravating expenditure. I have a second ptu-1 system and the switch on the body pack on that one works perfectly, so I know how it should work. Unfortunately also, I can’t find anywhere to purchase an in-line push-to-talk keying switch for a TA3F headset. Shure makes one for their TA4F headsets, but nobody seems to make a TA3F version.
