Is this faceplate set made for PS5 Slim or for PS5 Pro?

No. This set is cut for the original PS5 Disc Edition only. It is not compatible with the housing for PS5 Slim or for PS5 Pro, and it does not fit the Digital Edition either, so confirm which chassis you own before you order.

How do I fit these panels, and do I need any tools?

The swap runs in four steps and needs no tools. Lift the original panel at the slot position and push it out, then align the new panel with the slotted hole and push it in. The original panels go back on the same way.

Do the vents actually move air, or are they only a surface pattern?

They are there to move air. The product page describes a unique cooling vent structure added for enhanced and speedy airflow, and the note on the product image says the vents give better and faster airflow and less overheating of the console.

What is in the box, and how big is one panel?

The box holds two replacement side panels and nothing else. One panel measures 38.3 cm by 24.9 cm, which is 15.0 in by 9.8 in, and the set is made to the 1:1 scale of the original console so the edges follow the body you already have.

Can I put the original white panels back on later?

Yes. The panels install and come off again without tools, so the original white set goes back on the same way it came off. Keep the white plates somewhere safe if you think you may want the standard look again.
